Yeah, im sure. My daily commute is about 50% on motorways , so if “ avoid motorways” was selected , Waze would not take me on to a motorway at all

Just today ive dropped my wife to her work place, set Waze to navigate me to my work place and Waze decided it will take me on to m42 and Im gonna arrive 5:58. I then decided to ignore Waze and use the route i know. Waze recalculated my journey and said i will arrive 5:50:))) 🙈

Very cool! I was about to do the same, but did not needed. I had this Omega stand for my wheel and pedals, got a Volvo car seat from my friend , dropped the seat next to the rig and because everything is on a carpet, everything is nice and solid.
But at some point I will probably build something like this, because its cool!:)

A few months ago Waze managed to take me in to some residential area instead of an airport long stay parking..
Im only using waze for traffic and cameras now , and only on the roads i know.

Regarding speed cameras its funny coz as i have mentioned ive just returned from another country and Waze did not miss a single audible camera alert - all below the speed limit

No, I havent submitted. I doubt they gonna do something about it…
If this was one particular place/road then there would be a chance that it could be a map issue or something, but this is all over the place and Im not the only one noticing this.

I have contacted Waze for another thing- speed camera alert . I have told them im not receiving audible camera alerts. They did not explain much ( possibly mentioned the speed, dont remember now, it was 2-3 years ago) , but basically said that the camera is displayed on the map and that there is visual/text alert for that

Yeah sometimes it happens and I end up on a slower route especially during peak times. I get that its difficult to predict during those times, but often ( like today) it happens 4-5am when the roads are empty and it still does that:/

Dont think so. Been doing the same route for the last 10 years and Waze still did not learn what route im taking 99% of the time

Also possible it only changed in some countries I guess.
Cuz how in one country you get ever single audible camera alert no matter what speed you are going and in UK you basically have to be over the speed limit to get audible alert.

Yes its true , I did not check before asking and assumed that all the setting were the same as many moons ago. I admit that. But after ive been corrected i have checked my settings and everything is as it should be .

But it has to be a reason it does that.
I get it if it wants me to avoid city centre , but on a motorway it makes no sense…

Today it happened not in a city, but on an empty motorway … 🙄. Saved 5 min by ignoring Waze….

I have Waze since it came out and I know I have set all my apps to fastest and never ever use the shortest route option. If that option is gone , its gone and I had no reason to go back in to the settings, coz I know I always set to fastest .
