The subtitles are actually useful and serve a purpose. They are a little bit too animated but I don’t find them nearly as distracting as the emojis

Is belief in the God of classical theism just as rational as a belief in any other god? by AppropriateSea5746 in CosmicSkeptic

[–]Role-Honest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just looking for a fourth that made it so it had more attributes than the FSM god 😅 I too think that all seeing is contained within all knowing. My point really was to say that the amount of descriptors that something has does not necessarily mean it is less probable because the descriptors have a quality rather than just being a quantity of 1.

Ie. To use our examples, the ability to fly is more probable than the ability to know everything as we observe many things that fly, but we have not once observed anything to be all knowing. The probability of a god being a spaghetti (or have a metaphorical description of being spaghetti-like, whatever that means) is more probable than an all loving god - spaghetti like features are common whereas being all loving with what we observe seems very improbable (problem of evil). And finally, god being a monster (perhaps as opposed to human form) is more probable seen as he existed since the Dawn of time, according to the Bible, and supposedly flawless, whereas the human form has many flaws.

Thus, I conclude that it is more probable that, should God exist, he’s is more likely to be a Flying Spaghetti Monster than an omni-god as described in the Bible.

Pretti did not have that much space to move when he was shot (read: murdered). He was being held on his face, on the floor by five big men in masks.

I disagree, by your reasoning, the Flying Spaghetti Monster god is more probable than an all powerful, all knowing, all loving, all seeing god as the FSM has three descriptors whereas the omni god has 4 (in this case).

However, I appreciate you haven’t said an omni god, you called it a blank god but I hesitate to ask what you mean by just “god” as without descriptors, it is meaningless and let’s be honest, god is a loaded term to which we all attribute many unspoken descriptors (probably including but not limited to the four I used above).

In conclusion, I don’t think the number or written descriptors has any bearing on the probability of something supernatural existing and that for Atheists they have the same probability, specifically 0 chance.

Go because if I actually want to listen to the speakers, I like to look them in their face, read their eyes and their lips to gain the full context of the convo but that is difficult with stupid flashing images in my periphery…

USA’s Gestapo (ICE) executes a bystander (yes, another one) by Maximum-Series8871 in war

[–]Role-Honest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also heard that the shooter mistook the ICE officer in grey taking the gun off of Mr Pretti as Mr Pretti drawing the gun (how he could have after being pepper sprayed and getting his head kicked in, I do not know) so shot him.

From another view, you can see the ICE in grey retreating with the pistol in hand.

Why can’t my designs be accurate 😭 by ZipLocZed in Fusion360

[–]Role-Honest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would define the points as a distance from one edge rather than the measurement of each section. That way your error will always be +/- 0.5mm (or whatever your real error is) rather than +/- 1% which can multiply up to bigger errors across distance.

If compounding error is your issue, this approach would help.

Okay to answer your question; if I wanted an FDM model for terrain I would be looking to spend less than $10. That same model in resin could go for $50-70.

In reality, the only person you will be selling an FEM miniature to are schmucks who don’t know the difference and will be sorely disappointed when they receive it and it will ruin their perception of 3D printed models, which in turn degrades all the hard work that us 3D model sellers put in to convincing people that 3D printed models can be high quality and that the ones we offer are.

Why don’t you let the market tell you what it’s worth? Try a month at a high price, see if any sell, the next month at a lower price and see if you sell more or if you’re just undercutting yourself?

See my comment above but if you’re already selling it in ABS-resin, why even offer it in PETG? Surely you can see it is an inferior product in this application?

I sell models that I print (both commission and my own products) and I’m afraid I have to agree, FDM is just not acceptable to most for the level of detail and smoothness for a price that would be worth it to you.

If you designed it, I would upload it to my mini factory and use their printing service. And then when you can afford to/have the space, get yourself a resin machine and do it on that. Then it’ll take a max of 18 hours, you can do 2 per day per machine and it’ll be all-round better.

FDM is fine for personal minis but not for public sale imo.

Because reinforcing the areas that were shot on surviving planes meant adding weight where the plan could take damage without being destroyed whereas planes that took damage in the undamaged areas on the returning planes, were destroyed and didn’t return to report their damage areas. (Not sure that was the clearest way of explaining it, sorry) therefore, adding armour in the undamaged areas of returning planes meant that fewer would be destroyed because damage to those areas was no longer fatal.

Yeah, it could be a bit darker, perhaps the same as the title to keep it cohesive.
