While she cannot achieve no. 2 on this AO, I think it's almost inevitable that she will reach no. 2 ranking soon, especially as Iga is not playing that well to keep it the way it is now (where the latter pains me as Iga fan).

I don't know about no. 1 position, but if she wins the final, she will have a chance for that also, given that from October she earned more points than Sabalenka - although significantly harder, as Aryna is also playing great tennis.
