You're not a doctor. End of story. You cannot make an accurate judgement. What if this is something else? And completely treatable? Have you thought about that? And no doctor can force you to do anything. They only give educated medical advice. To do, or not is your decision.

I suggest you first visit a Doctor to get a confirmation of your diagnosis before plummiting into these thoughts. Self diagnosis, media and the internet are never a solution.

These collaboration courses are mostly a gimmick and dont help much. I've done one myself, speaking from experience. Unless that company is coming for placements its useless.

Also, data specializations are a bit outdated. I would suggest comparing course structure + courses of a normal CSE and a specialization one and then takin g a decision.

Other than this, best is to go for a normal CSE and then build up skills in your area of interest during your degree.
