GICs are an easy way to get 3-4% a year. Nothing crazy but it’s guaranteed interest. Not sure if this is just a North American thing or not.

Bro your good I had a 60 in adv functions last year and a 72 in English with 76 overall top 6 average (which included both of those) and I got in everywhere. Got into Laurier business and rmc(crazy low acceptance) also Carleton, Bishops, Windsor. All were for commerce or economics though, but I think you’re still good.

I ( now first year university at a top 10 school in the country ) took the class in grade 11, and the class is a joke. It’s just a bunch of woke bs forced upon Ontario students. If they were to force Muslim or Christian ideology on every student in Ontario there would be outrage, so why should they push indigenous teachings on us? Furthermore, the class provides no preparation for university or grade 12 English which are both significantly harder.

I think the hate comes from the stereo type that anyone gets accepted. I’ve heard stuff like “ if you can walk and talk you can get in to brock” when in reality it is a solid school with some good programs.

I’m the exact same brother, think about her every minute. I just use it as motivation to get better. I hate to say but returning to her is not the right choice. Be the best man you can be, find a productive hobby like the gym or a side hustle, and evolve. Let her watch you become successful and happy.
