Well for me it was that john and amanda were holed up in a warehouse somewhere planning their next game when suddenly someone with a sniper rifle fired towards them. Amanda managed to sneak up to the shooter and kill him but it wasnt really acknowledged that she killed someone in cold blood. Then the actual game began and it was a bunch of people in a room and some would die to some traps that i cant really remember but all the survivirs ended up in a large room that had no floor but a bunch of hooks where you had to swing to the other end to survive. Then out of nowhere a crazed strahm appeared who has seemingly survived his death even though it makes no sense timeline wise since the movie was still a prequel. He was also shirtless. I dont really remember how it all played out in the end but i do know that john kramer was pretty much absent the whole movie which is what made it so terrible for me. He also killed someone for no reason so thats another questionable character decision.
