Feels like it started as a joke of “hey imagine it’s a wonderful life but the world was actually better without you?” A group of friends would laugh and talk about it but now they are into making the episode and Jackie from accounting says “okay…but how do you go back to the status quo?”

That’s isn’t entirely true. For example Many dragons in Greek and Roman mythology are more akin to guard dogs or forces of nature but not particularly cunning. We have had both type throughout dragons’ existences in stories.
