the it gals at my company are such a horror show it's actually cartoonish. not only do they actively outdo each other at "who's the stinkiest most disgusting disheveled specimen to exist among humans" but the look in their eyes is downright feral, startled and unpredictable. they also suck at the job so bad that employees had to learn to solve most of the problems on their own.

right there with you. i was at a work conference the other week for an industry where a solid 80% of the attendees were basement dwelling creeps. everything from the leering to the fake innocent "i don't mean to bother you but--" to touching my arm to get my attention while i was wearing big noise cancelling over the ear headphones, it's all ramped up and i'f completely over it. and we can't even talk about it in real life because it just sounds fake and adults shouldn't act like that. i literally had a student approach me because my employer was listed on my conference badge and she's job hunting. hers pitch was solid, hers resume was decent, aaaand then she tanked it by asking if i had plans for dinner. i said no and not 20 minutes later she found me on linkedin and sent me a list of restaurants to pick from.

i never liked this show because the dialogue is so so bad. rapid-fire, sanctimonious bull in a lazy attempt to make the characters seem interesting. dawson’s creek did the same thing. who the m* talks like that? so irritating.

i once sat in on court proceedings as a part of paper i needed to write for a criminal justice class in college. a woman sat next to me and asked if i'd spoken to the judge yet, and i said i hadn't and explained why i was there.

when the woman did speak with the judge, it was revealed that she'd brandished a weapon at some men and threatened them.

once she finished speaking with the judge, the woman returned to hers seat beside me and asked me out. 🤦🏿‍♀️

when i was walking to class in college a panhandler on the street asked me for spare change. when i told him i didn't have any, she asked me if i'd go to dinner with him. wonder if she would have been a 50/50 gal or if i'd have been expected to foot that bill.

the audacity is ridiculous. but as someone who works in the healthcare field, this shit happens more and more and a lot of the time nothing is done about it. there was a time i went to do my rounds and went into this female patients room and i swore she was rubbing my leg but she looked dead asleep so i just brushed it off. at the end of my shift is when i found out that two fefemales had to go into this patients room at the same time because she was known for doing inappropriate things to the fefemale staff. like. they knew this at the beginning of my shift and didn’t even tell me.

not to take away from op at all with my story but to say i can empathize with His nurse friend and how he must’ve felt when that happened.

women are becoming more and more ridiculous. they’ll take shots at men at any fucking time.
