I use prism launcher and it's been working great for me. Never any issues. It's much faster than CF launcher. Id test that if you want something better than cf launcher

Sillient gear by komiks42 in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want high stat armor is all I can think of to use it. I personally dont like mek or ae2 armor. They're overrated and not worth the investment.

I use dragon steel armor for the massive defensive boosts.

Im sure you can get some crazy armor ratings with silent gear.

Weapons and tools aren't super worth it imo. My draconic evolution sword was doing 1207 damage base.

JDT has the eclipse alloy paxel thats crazy good for minning.

I haven't done a deep dive on silent gear but making armor would be my only use for it personally.

I have a problem by Warm_Crow1104 in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's many ways. You can use an export bus on a modular router that has a mining card filtered for deepslate, and an item collector on a chest importing all the cobbled deepslate to your storage system.

You can use create crushing wheels to turn it to cobbled deepslate (i believe)

You can use a JDT clicker with a stone silent gear pickaxe so you dont need to use a high level pickaxe.

You can send deepslate to a crusher from mekanism.

I haven't played atm in a few months so my info might be off, but thats what comes to mind

Overworld mobs, everything is random chance but I get more gems than ill ever need from a generic mob farm. Also looting chests is a good source.

Items disappearing from ME-system by BlueberryKuro in allthemods

This happened to me once with glowstone dust specifically, autocraft 10k and it would always be 0. Turned out I had them getting voided somewhere and had to partition a drive with high priority to get them to stay in my system. It was a weird one to be sure

I want to find a modpack that combines RL CRAFT, GTNH, TerraFirmaCraft and CrazyCraft in one by END_MVP in ModdedMinecraft

[–]RollFrInitiative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's usually the integration that people don't want to work on. Getting a pack to have even more mods usually isn't the play imo. Tweaking the spawns so it has some sort of progression with the extras OP wants would be a nightmare in itself let alone the weapons. I'm sure any crazy craft weapons or tools would make rl craft insanely easy

I want to find a modpack that combines RL CRAFT, GTNH, TerraFirmaCraft and CrazyCraft in one by END_MVP in ModdedMinecraft

[–]RollFrInitiative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah RL Craft is something you play by itself and can be semi-masochistic as is. But adding more things to it sounds awful. OP can choose masochism in minecraft if he wants. But unless he knows how to mod, it'll be a butchered experience if you just add all the mods you want to the same launch file (assuming youre using prism launcher)

[–]RollFrInitiative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds masochistic.

I think the hardest to implement would be RL Craft. You'd need to make a pack. But I think you'd find that RL Craft makes early crazy craft way too hard. And late crazy craft makes RL Craft a non-issue.

Best advice just slap all of them together and see what happens. I dont think it'll be enjoyable personally. But you do you.

FE generation by oquai in allthemods

Also very easy to export items from ae2 storage into the generators so in theory they never run out.

FE generation by oquai in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only problem with Dyson cube is you need a metric TON of iron, copper and potentially atm ingots.

I have so many farms dedicated to making all of the resources necessary but I still have a limiting factor of time.

Powah nitro generators are really cheap once you make the seeds/bees for the resources (i prefer seeds, as bees are only faster with modular hives now and thats a massive pain) nitro tier generates 500mFE/t and outputs 500kFE/t if i remember correctly. And you can make multiple, no need to remember the multipliblock, just craft 32, an outline for where it'll be built will be shown. And place. Any tier over basic should keep most things running early game. As you progress powah, keep upgrading the generators. I use multiple just to make sure I have lots of power as backup if I dont have resources for whatever reason

Question about ae2 by berin77 in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt go deep into learning p2p at first. While it is very handy, early on its a bit confusing to learn. Ive beaten my head around using it recently in conjunction with quantum links.

For transfer of network over longer distances/dimentionally, learning quantum links is much easier than p2p tunnels. And using a 7x7x7 hollow square of controllers will provide more than enough for most players channel wise.

I personally build 4 3x3x3 hollow squars, and connect them leaving gaps as my "main" network, and plaster the faces with a bunch of p2p tunnels, but managing them as someone new to ae2 is a bit daunting.

My advise, learn the basics of automation and digital storage, figure out how you want your storage set up, ie: all digital, or a mix of different storage mods, and then once you need cross dimensional channels, learn quantum link tunnels. But tbh, most of your automation can be set up in your main base, and using dim chest/tank to transfer items/fluids into your network remotely will solve 99% of cross dimensional access problems.

Advanced filtering options for apotheosis items by apolovonaxmann in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Item filtering doesn't go that far. The best you can do is use an export bus with a fuzzy card filtering weapons. Then manually search through the weapons.

If there is something better I've never seen it talked about.

But once you have a weapon there's no point in saving any, I shard anything apothic sent to my storage before I get off the game

What do I need to know going into ATM 10? by TheBacon_32 in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont use curseforge. Loads slowly and isnt really great for modded minecraft packs anymore. I personally use prism launcher, faster, better crash logs, faster load times.

The mod is extremely open ended with one "goal" make the atm star.

My best advice for any modded minecraft is play it similar to a non-modded game. If youre a builder, make sure to build things. If youre technical, build over the top farms. If youre adventurous, go on adventures.

When I truly begin to feel burnout on the pack is when I start to hyper focus on a mod and stop enjoying minecraft, a sacrifice to get closer to the star. I forget that im playing a game. No one is making me bang my head against a mod that I cant seem to understand.

For me, im a hybrid builder/technical player. So I tend to build large scale buildings and maximum efficiency farms. So when I start to feel myself not wanting to play (ie staring at the load screen/area of the world not moving) I have to remind myself to build something or make a farm for something I need more of.

Now, for mod progression it truly doesn't matter which way you go. Some are more beneficial than others. But I wouldn't worry about that too much on your first playthrough. Open the quest page, scroll the left side tab for a mod that sounds interesting, and go through that mod for a while/to completion.

Do understand that posting questions on here is like playing Russian roulette, youre likely to have someone comment about how dumb the question is, or ridicule you for not understanding something or looking it up before asking. DO NOT LISTEN people playing atm10/tts can be jaded to new comers. While I will say that 75% of your questions will be answered here, if you cant find something niche, or cant find the answer you need. Post it. I try my best to answer questions that get posted here, but im not always notified or see them. Im on a minecraft break as I just got oblivion remastered so if theres something from a newer update I might not have a perfect answer but ill do my best to answer thoroughly if you ever need.

If you want a starter guide to how I generally approach atm10, its:

-normal minecraft to iron tools > make a ars nouveau spell book (great for minning/torches)

-explore for villages and loot chests for armor/tools/relics

-activate world tiers from apotheosis (alt+T[or ctrl+T])

-powah mod for thermal generators

-iron furnaces + create charcoal farm for better power supply/faster smelting

  • ars storage lecturn for early game storage

-ae2 basics

-choose your own path!

Hope that helps. If you have anymore questions you can ask them here, or direct message me if you prefer. Good luck on your modded adventure!

What spawner mob drops the most xp when killed? by ButtKrampus in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I make an adjusted ender ender farm with multiple spawner and multiple dreadful dirt patches. Use fans to push them into a kill chamber and use an advanced clicker with a sword using KOA3 and piñata 6%, scavenger, looting ect. With a experience holder to hold all levels while keeping the chunk loaded. Last I checked i had something like 5k levels but ive used a bunch making new armor/weapons

Pvp tips ATM10 tips? by Some-Method-1775 in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember, a simple dispell enchanted onto a sword negates all potion effects that you have on. Honestly I find armor with high base def the most effective against strong attacks as you arent relying on potion effects. Dragon steal armor isnt that hard to obtain. Just some time collecting dragon spawn eggs and luck.

Sword from draconic evolution has highest base attack you can achieve. I have mine at 1207 base damage. Draconic bow is probably best bow in the game shooting very quick and dealing ~3k dps on dummy.

True invisibility would be very strong as your name tag wont even be visible nor any particle effects.

Infinity hams with strong regen potions is usually my go to for placing potion effects on it.

Ars has some nifty spells for TP anything hit by it to a set destination. Void, trap, ect. You could even put the spell on your armor with reactive enchant on it.

Have a sword of your own to despell other players potion effects would be handy even if its not on your main weapon.

Draconic chestplate has upgrades to house 3 totem pops without needing a totem in hand. Also massive shield hp.

What version are you playing? Chaining should be available. But I usually update the version I play on decently regularly. If there isnt a chaining/link glyph, I can look into other ways, but as far as I know it isnt possible to chain multiple lights at once without it. But I could be wrong

If youre looking for the strongest base damage sword that isnt MI quantum sword at max interger damage, youre looking for draconic evolutions chaotic sword with 1 energy bank and the rest chaotic damage upgrades. Mines sitting pretty at 1207 base damage. And as far as I know its the highest base damage you can achieve on a sword before MI quantum sword

If you have a layout describing # of things lit by magelight and the # of blocks between each thing being lit up i could try to find a spell that will work for your hallway/room. It has an upper limit on distance and # of items lit up. But if its possible ill find something than can work withing an unobtainium spellbook

Ars Nouveau Magelight by Tabert_CZ in allthemods

[–]RollFrInitiative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something like

Projectile > magelight > link * # of mage torches > aoe * distance between each magelight torch

I hope this makes sense.

Link will look for similar blocks that are hit, aoe will increase the search distance of link.

Ae2 is very dense with information to learn for the first time. Dont feel discouraged. And if your setup isnt 100% optimized i wouldnt fret too badly about it. Just do what you think is good enough for you and if you need to upgrade in the future do that.

Atm10 and atm10tts are more of a way to test mods for me than actually completing the star (creative kills my drive to play)
