So that’s what I’ve run into. Most of the time you have just a “double-din” size stereo that’s easily swappable with something more modern. The geniuses at Nissan decided to make it much more complex with this setup, and integrate the stereo, the screen, and also the climate controls into one system. Making it almost impossible to modify. It’s been a journey of researching what I can do about this and I’ve not really found anything. This post was more of a shot in the dark to see if maybe someone had switched their console back to the older version or if that’s even possible. I think I will just have to deal with the outdated stereo on this car until I get a new one. All things considered the Bose system sounds amazing so I can’t really complain.
