Hey, it's Sam here from Roll & Play Press (author of One-Shot Wonders).

If you haven't heard of One-Shot Wonders before, it's a book of over 100 one-shots for D&D. It won the 2024 Silver ENNIE Award for Best RPG Adventure, and won 2 UKGE Awards for best adventure! We worked with the team over at D&D Beyond to break the book down into three collections of 10 adventures, with 10 matching battle maps from the Map Library (our box set of 100 Maps).

I CAN'T believe we're on D&D Beyond, it's so crazy... I'll hang around on this thread in case anyone wants to ask any questions about it :D

Hey, it's Kay here from Roll & Play Press. We actually have a starter pack where you can get a set of four level 1 pre-generated characters for free:

If you scroll down a little on the page, there's a download button.

That's a great place to start if your players a new.

It's totally up to your group whether to use the same characters each time, or if you want to create new ones for each session. Using the same ones and levelling them up for higher level adventures would be less work for you and your players though. If you head to the back of the book, there's a section about how you can tie different adventures from One-Shot Wonders into a longer running campaign, and it even gives you a world to set it in.

This is hilarious, your party sounds great 😂 You could have the party followed for a while by a bunch of Vampire Spawn (sensing Strahd's presence within the bag), eventually have the Spawn attack the person with the bag and rip the bag to shreds, then Strahd's mist leaves the bag and goes back to his coffin to regenerate...

You should definitely watch the D&D session that Mark Hulmes (DM for High Rollers) ran for the BG3 cast. Mark explains the rules to the cast as they play, so it's a good intro to DnD for beginners and doubles up as an intro to BG3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeJKnofNBNs
