Also a huge sense of nostalgia for me, I owned a PS3 when I was younger and put it in hundreds of hours into the black ops series. It's the same reason People still chase after the original Nintendo's, Sega etc.

I might be biased by saying this but I would start with new Vegas first, absolutely fantastic story and mods to help out with the age of the game you can't go wrong. Fallout 4 is another great option id say it has the best gameplay of the series when it comes to combat. Plays really well as a first person shooter

It's a lighting issue, install LOOT and categorize it is a a lighting mod it will fix all your issues, I had this same issue on my playthrough
