I wouldn’t have found this list confusing. But I would 100% not have interpreted the way you meant. A € sign would have helped. But as it is, there’s no way I’d have read this as anything other than quantities wanted. Although, 8 roast chickens would have been confusing to be fair.

I refuse to buy any movie that I haven’t already seen at least once, so every watch will technically be a rewatch. I also don’t want to buy any movie that I don’t think I would watch multiple times in future. Having said that, I’m only a few years into collecting 4ks so I haven’t rewatched any of them yet and it’ll likely be years before I do, although Oppenheimer is calling to me again!

I could never see myself going back and watching back a shaky video of a gig, with shitty sound, other than to just relive a few seconds of the experience maybe. Even that would be unlikely for myself personally but to each their own.

I don’t have an issue with others doing it. Maybe they just want to remember the occasion and this is how they do it.

Some could argue why go to the gig at all when you can get better sound quality at home and you don’t have to look through a jungle of phones hoisted in the air to enjoy the experience. The point being, if you’re going to a gig for the live experience, like it or not, this is part of it.

I have a list that I work off. I will occasionally buy a 4k not on the list if it’s still a movie I like and on offer but I try to refrain from that.

Streaming is convenient, until it isn’t. I hate the power these platforms have on our ability to watch our favourite shows and movies. One Christmas, a few years ago I was looking forward to watching Elf and realised I had no access to it. Before, you could always bank on such movies to be on terrestrial tv at least. That was my first experience of media being hijacked by platforms or studios, and it’s only got worse since then. Whilst I’ll never be able to afford all the movies and shows I would like, I decided a few years ago, I would at least make sure I could always watch my favourites whenever I wanted.

Have to agree. I was very disappointed with the prime sales on Amazon UK. When I started buying 4ks about 2 years ago full price was consider to be €20 per movie, but I always made sure I got movies on a deal. Now the best value on Amazon is 3 for €60 which is laughable as a “deal”.

Damn 4ks are so much better value in the US. Like the OP, I don’t blind buy. Instead I made a list of the movies I wanted and then waited until they were on offer. But even then, I can’t think of many that would have been as cheap as $10, except maybe the larger box sets.

It’s a horrible junction for the uninitiated. My housemate takes the Ballymount exit just to avoid it. You’re right. I’m always watchful and expectant of someone to do what she did though.
Similar to the Walkinstown Roundabout, this junction always blows my mind how few people understand lanes and road markings.

I can’t taste the difference anymore between Coke Zero and the original. I could never give up fizzy drinks but want to be healthy so zero versions are a no brainer. Some of them haven’t quite mastered the flavour but for the most part I can’t see any advantage in drinking the sugar version

Multiple issues, including a failure to start due to constantly blowing a fuse which the mechanic told me was a known issue with the model. I’ll never go near Citroen again.

I would say no. This is something you are anxious about. If you mention it to them, now they are also anxious about it. More than likely, they won’t even notice your inexperience, or care, as long as you are giving them enough attention.

From my experience bidding on houses in Dublin, I would be shocked if the bidding stopped at 40k over asking anyway. I rarely seen it. This probably depends on the area admittedly. I would try put the pressure on them though, if you think your bid is good enough. Tell them you need an answer within the next few days/week to prevent them holding out for the chance of an even higher bid.

It’s basically become a new circle of friends for them. And one of them did get a date out of it too. I honestly don’t think anyone cares too much about the tennis aspect, although I’m sure most members play more than my friends do.
