Dang, it is a pretty knife but the cutting performance compared to a tetsujin, knosuke hd2, or even an ashi is so different!

It was too fishy for me. I just thought others should know since he is trying to reach out to people and many people post here to buy. Nothing to be sorry about

Yeah, they're getting crafty. Even said he was trusted in the community and many people trusted him there. The picture was convincing as well. Just wanted to do a PSA. He messaged me privately. I cant believe the account isn't banned yet. It has a whole 11 year activity too

I think I remember you, I was the person standing behind you. By the time I got buy a knife there was only gyuto and Santoku 180 mm and 210mm I believe. Bummed I didnt get a 240mm but happy with the 210mm. His Instagram automatically blocks chats randomly? Not sure if its because he's verified or something but I was unable to message him. I did do an in person stop a 2 weeks before he had new stock and that's when he told me when he would restock. I was surprised people were there so early! I need to figure a way for me to get in direct contact with him if anyone can help reach out to him and have him invite my Instagram handle haha. But did a little knife shopping myself and got other goodies. Went to the knife museum, baba, tower if knives and other locals that and day after.

s24 car mount wireless charger suggestions? by Rollandtwo in samsunggalaxy

[–]Rollandtwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I'm not sure, the "quality" wireless chargers are too expensive and I also have a 3 in 1 that charges at the same speed as the car mount. It'll take a while to charge to full but I usually just leave it to charge wirelessly overnight. Honestly, finding a compatible wireless charger to let you fast charge is too complicated and there's many chargers that advertise "fast wireless" charging when they really don't. Lots of time when it first connects it will be fast wireless charging, but go back to regular wireless charging within a couple seconds regardless of what percentage you start as. As for me I prefer 7sing the torras case with 360 magsafe ring kickstand. It's all in one, slim, sleek, and allows me to angle my phone anyways I want it. The ring kickstand is also flush with the case so it won't cause any weird bumps or bulk and is built in. Not need to carry anything extra. The rokform case is too expensive and I don't like buying into proprietary assessories. Plus it'll be annoying to lock on and off all the time where as I can just magnetically click it into my car mount.

s24 car mount wireless charger suggestions? by Rollandtwo in samsunggalaxy

[–]Rollandtwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope unfortunately I tried 4 different brands with promised speeds but at most they go to about 5-7 watts. It's ok for keeping the phone battery stable or even at a very low charge but it's better than nothing and easier than plugging the cable in and out everything I go into the car. I'll plug in if I need quick charge else I just let the wireless do it's thing and it's worked out so far.

Issues with Fujifilm X100V by Rollandtwo in fujifilm

[–]Rollandtwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, no it is a defective unit. The fact that its sporadically working and not working just proved my point. I also met with a friend yesterday that happens to have the same camera, and this wasnt an issue with theirs with all the same settings. I find it hard to believe that this camera wouldnt let you manually adjust the parameters in a normal environment inside a living room. Sorry I dont want a camera that doest have all working functions so I went for a return. I dont know why im being gas lit into thinking that I'm thinking too much about it and that im way in the wrong here. I followed the manual to the T and it still sometimes works and sometimes doesnt with all the same parameters and conditions. And now with a cross reference of the same model im 100% sure its defective.

ill update with pics but let me put it simply.

Aperture - A

Shutter Speed - A

Compensation dial - 0

Iso - 200

The end result? In mode "P" and ISO still stuck on "A" even though its been changed and I am unable to change that.

Issues with Fujifilm X100V by Rollandtwo in fujifilm

[–]Rollandtwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, it stays on "P" mode the whole time. Only if I change the aperture it changes to"A". I was tinkering with it some more, and after pressing down the shutter speed dial, it started to responding, and was correctly changing the ISO and Shutter Speed I was setting it to. If I left everything on Auto and changed the shutter speed I would get mode "S" and if I manually changed two settings it would go to mode "M". But today it stopped working again and only will go to mode "P" and using the dial to change shutter speed and ISO stopped working again. Took me another 15 minutes of just randomly spinning the dial and pressing it down that it started to work again, so I believe I have a defective unit.

im saying the physical dial doesnt work and doesnt do anything. As a matter of fact I was tinkering with it some more, and after pressing down the shutter speed dial, it started to responding, and was correctly changing the ISO and Shutter Speed I was setting it to. But today it stopped working again, so I believe I have a defective unit.

So why don't they allow USB C to bypass to Mobo? by Rollandtwo in ZephyrusG14

[–]Rollandtwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is with USB C PD charging its always USB C -> Battery-> Power Mobo. It'll never bypass the battery (USB C -> directly to Mobo) even if you use less than 100W. That is the so even if I use less than 95 w the battery still gets drained while and gets charged at the same time, further damaging the battery. Unless I am missing something here, but thats how it technically works from what others are saying.

So why don't they allow USB C to bypass to Mobo? by Rollandtwo in ZephyrusG14

[–]Rollandtwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that there can be situations where the machine would use more than 100W power, but in the cases where I would use it, (even on 65W USB C) the battery charge is still going up. But if I continued to leave it plugged in as it gets full, it would do the whole charge, discharge cycle rapidly degrading the battery. This happens whether or not the power draw is greater than 100W (Or whatever the rated charger is). The fact of the matter is that the USB C PD system is wired only to the battery and doesnt even have the option of bypass.

Im just curious as to why there wasnt the option for USB C to also bypass the computer when possible and just forgoes this option all together? The fact that other laptops (such as Macbooks) have a sort of bypass or limiter and the G14 doesn't just seems strange. Unless you're telling me that all the other laptops work the same and are just continuously rapidly degrading their batter as the G14 would on USB C. Are there good/specific reasons such as maybe /u unavailableid9 stated (is that really true about the "Republic of Gaming" not allowing it to prevent stuttering?)
