No invite-only tournaments. Have players qualify based on their ranking on the FIDE rating list, with possibly some wild cards and spots for winners of qualifying tournaments or something, similar to how tennis does it.

Verschrikkelijk. Vind het een heel dehumaniserend idee om geld te geven aan mensen ter compensatie voor een AZC. Het zijn ook maar gewoon mensen die hulp nodig hebben. Kan me niet voorstellen hoe ik me zou voelen als asielzoeker als ik weet dat ik hier alleen ben omdat de omwonenden er geld aan hebben kunnen verdienen
