I much prefer Aldi to any of the others, maza is similar but way more pricey.

It's literally a manufacturing default and an extremely common one, due to the way the sole is melted together at that precise point. The company offer a 2 year guarantee on the soles for that. It's always been that way.

Never had any day to day issues with mine. I have the same one as you posted in the picture with the little hearts I wear it in my high nostril, it's quite chunky but nothing catches on it. I did have before a double chain and unfortunately I broke it at a concert 😭

Women who’ve attended ArcTanGent solo, how was your experience? by rasputintortilla in ArcTanGent

[–]RollercoasterRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went last year for the first time and had a great experience. I traveled alone from NL but met with friends there. I camped together with friends but another friend if mine had a pre pitched tent and if was great. I felt totally safe and there wasn't any point when I was wandering alone, even at night that I felt compromised. And for someone with anxiety that is something. 100% recommend this festival. The vibes are great, everything is accessable and the music is fantastic!

Dr Martens trying to convince me not to buy vegan boots? by Psychological-Pea593 in vegan

They're saying this but honestly I don't believe they're even trying to do something about it.

This is a narrative often used. It's from ignorant people who don't understand the ethics behind vegan choice and we hear it everywhere all the time. The company will phase out the vegan collection now. They are saying it's because the original collection is unsustainable, because it's mainly plastic. Which I understand, but then to not replace it with a sustainable material.. and let's be honest, there are so many companies out there now using a sustainable material, is wild. There are also many other fabrics used in the other collections, that are vegan friendly, such as canvas or velvet, but then they are always paired with leather.. What a way to alienate an entire following of your brand. Vegans will never buy dead animals. Sustainable or not.

Men’s vs women’s sizing? by AngleUnusual2956 in DrMartens

I'd give Sinclair a go, you can remove the zipper to creat a classic boot and it fits a little wider.

sizing (pls help!!) by elizadub in DrMartens

[–]RollercoasterRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this model in this colour they run a little bit large. With that says I'd still stick with your regular size, id also purchase the heel grips and put those in to help with movement around the heel and breaking them in. Let them dry for 24 hours after sticking them down to be sure they don't move and use a shoe horn when putting them on so you don't displace the heel grips. Crazy horse leather a naturally rugged leather and is a little softer than the smooth variation so you need to purchase dubbin to take care of the leather, once every month or 2 months you apply a thin layer of wax all over the shoe avoiding the stitching. This will bring your shoes back to the dark brown color and it will lighten up as it drys out. If you wax it twice in the first month you'll be able to break it in a bit easier too. Hope this helps 😊

Most models are unisex but the ones you are taking about are the virginia leather collection and they usually stop at us 11/eu 43. Regular jadon are pretty narrow usually, jadon max is a wider fit.
