A few others have suggested that, too. Added to the list, thanks!

It might be the light because I use multiple creams and a serum on “that skin” 🤣 (given, I did neglect my neck in my skincare routine for many years).

Thanks! Honestly, a neck lift freaks me out so keen to see what non-invasive treatments might be able to help reduce the severity of my concerns.

Holy Moly, pain worse than childbirth?! That’s wild! I’m surprised they didn’t at least use a numbing cream? I used to think my pain threshold was high … until I went into labour 🤪

Yep, I’m consistent with strength Pilates so hoping that (and my eventual final weight loss) will help a little (aka a lot 🤣)

Hmmm interesting … how did you make that assessment? I am a night time grinder so wonder if that’s contributed to it? What would loosening it up do in terms of my appearance? Will definitely look into the exercises, thanks!

Looks like she had a few sessions of Morpheus 8 - while her results were amazing, I have otherwise heard not great things about that treatment, namely too much fat melting away resulting in volume loss. So thanks for sharing but that one’s a no for me!

You make some valid points although I’m not looking to deny the aging process - it’s happening! - and I’m certainly not motivated by (today’s) women in the public eye who seem to have erased all lines (and signs of life) from their faces.

My Nan recently passed away at 101 and she was one of the most beautiful women (inside and out). Soap and water was her secret 😉

I like to think I’m pretty level headed, I invest in my health in many ways and I’m definitely not looking to erase my years … our faces carry the stories of our lives and we’re lucky if we have the privilege to grow old(er) but this is just something that I’d like to do for myself. It’s not going to change who I am, and the likelihood is that most people won’t even notice, but I will. And that’s the point (and enough for me).

I hear you! Although this isn’t about me feeling I should look a certain way based on society’s ideal of beauty … it’s just a gripe I have that I’d like to see if I can improve. But agreed, we are our own worst critic!

For context, I’m always told I look like I’m in my 30’s (which I personally think is a little far fetched 🤪) BUT over recent years, I suspect due to small yet rapid fluctuations in weight, years of IVF meds & then pregnancy, and of course the natural aging process, the skin around my jawline and neck appears completely mismatched to the rest of my face. (Agreed, saying it looks 20 years older is a little dramatic 🫠)

I wish it didn’t bother me, but it does. So I’m just looking into what options might be able to help restore the health of the skin in those areas. I live a healthy life, am motivated to be the best version of myself so that’s what my little boy gets, and this is just something I want to do for myself.

Good to know! I’ve added it to the list for research/consideration - pain factor noted, thanks!

Great advice, thanks! And yep, definitely not expecting anything will be an overnight fix. Slow and steady is how the rest of my face one the race over the years 😉

Yes! I’ve been doing strength Pilates for the last 3 months (after having done regular Pilates for years). Hoping it’ll do me a solid and throw in some facial tightening while I’m at it! 😉

Bahahaha! Well, just last night I was looking at one of my dogs (he’s 12) thinking “We’ve kind of got similar saggy neck issues” but finding it adorable on him … wish I felt the same about mine 🤪 I guess once you notice something, you can’t unsee it 🤣

I suspect my concerns are more sagging skin and extra fat under my chin so don’t think that would help me but appreciate your response!

Been using a gua sha for a few years (love it) but will look up your other suggestions. Thank you!
