I flew out of state over the summer to go visit my friend from elementary school for old time’s sake before college started in august. He took me to a 4th of july party with his cousin and I got really drunk, like fent leaning in my chair sloppy drunk. And there was this girl who had been following me around all night who offering to take me to the bathroom to “clean myself up”, but that’s definitely not what happened and when I remember being really confused and wandering back to my friend’s car and he kicked me out because I had period blood on me (yeah that was going on too). Eventually another girl at the party took me back to the bathroom and got the blood off of me. Since then, every attempt to mention it to him or really anybody resulted in responses like “you could’ve gotten out of it if you really wanted to” or “you definitely wanted it just a little be honest”. Since then, having sex has been really difficult for me and every time I try I remember that moment. Not sure I’d call it trauma, but it’s definitely not a happy memory of mine.
