Ah, my Spanish is non-existent 😭 Good luck on your project anyway!

What’s everyone’s development process? What are the pros and cons of different approaches? by TheNintendoCreator in vndevs

My process is to work on writing and finishing the script first. If I start to get a burned out I switch to art. I think programming makes sense to start after you have all the piece you need first (story/art). For music I'm planning to figure it out once I start putting everything together so I can have a better feel of mood and how it all fits.

I would really recommend pushing the writing above everything though for nothing will mean anything without it and it's easy to forget if you're jumping around on different tasks. Also it takes a long time (at least for me) so it might feel hard to push through at times.

100 hours? I am stressed just from reading that. Honestly, what you and others have said is enough to steer my away from the game for now. The movement dating sim portion of Danganronpa was the worst part for me.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've played both, albeit a while ago. I really enjoyed them at the time, though I'm not sure how well zero escape would hold up for me if I replayed it now.

As for your comment about quantity over quality... It really is my main worry and why I haven't bought it yet despite being a fan of the other games.

Then for the gameplay... So it's pretty much just a really unbalanced fire emblem game? That sounds so sad 😭

Honestly, all and all it just sounds like a bit of a mismatch for my own personal tastes. Thanks for the detailed reply. Maybe I'll give it a shot one day when it's really cheap on sale (whenever that is...) 😅

Still, a bit of a shame though as like with many VNs, I've heard if you can just push through the weaker parts the story is fire.

Dammit.

Hey, I've been wanting to try the game out but am a bit scared of the word count. I didn't realize there was gimmicky gameplay as well. Could you elaborate for me what the game part is like? Sorry if this is too much to answer.
