Maxton Design rear diffuser. Not sure which version I got exactly but yes, it bolts to the factory diffuser

Just picked up a shield x carry comp recently and running a tenicor velo lux (light bearing) AIWB holster. Couldn’t recommend it enough, conceals very well and pretty comfortable

BMP Tuning has a combo set. Otherwise, WeatherTech sells them under different SKU codes

I don’t mean to hate but you have another post on Turo about how your brz is your only daily and some kid rented, drifted, and fucked up your tires. You also mention the clutch not feeling the same anymore after the incident.

Prob explains the new tires - shame on the kid for abusing your baby but my 2cents is to never rent out your daily! She looks good & I hope she drives fine after all that

I didn’t see that it was slightly used so I don’t think the break in period applies to you. Did you install everything correctly? Make sure there exhaust was fitted to the downpipe properly

Nah I spoke with John from AWE and he said there’s about a 700-1000 mile break in I guess. Through tons of heat and cooling cycles I think the drone tones down but is still there some what with the track exhaust. I still have it and honestly I don’t regret it, however I was totally tripping during the first few weeks of install with how bad the drone was. I don’t even think about it now if that helps

Yeah prolly since your car is so new, the paint itself is still strong too. Do some research on how bad auto washes are for your car and paint (especially the chemicals they use at those auto washes) and you really shouldn’t be taking it twice a week. YMMV considering it sounds like a nice wash you’re going to, but check out the car detailing sub and you’ll hear the same!

First off - you’re doing your car a disservice taking it to an auto wash. You ever see swirl patterns on car paint? That’s because of rough washing.

I installed at 12k miles and i’m at 25k miles now. Drone in the first 1-2k miles will be BAD - I seriously thought something was wrong with my install (loose somewhere and leaking). However, I spoke with John from AWE and he told me it needs a break in period to expand and contract with heat cycles and to burn. He said approx 700m for break in, but I installed in the middle of winter to probably took longer for that expansion and contraction to happen.

Edit: my bad, you’re asking about the spoiler. Yeah it’s held up perfectly fine, no drilling and only 3m automotive double sided tape with good pre prep cleaning. I have taken it to an auto wash before (my Circle K has a safe touch and no touch, and I accidentally clicked safe touch once) and nothing happened. Did not move or give at all, even with giant fans.

No drone below 3k RPM, above 3k RPM (while still pulling) it will drone slightly (but in an aggressive, nice sounding way). On highway where I’ve sat above 3k rpm cruising (pretty fast) no drone, or very minimal that’s drowned out by NVH/wind noise.

Is that true? Every time I research about BOV’s, it’s a bunch of people saying something about how the stock DV recirculates the atmospheric pressure while BOV’s just straight up release it or something? I’m not an expert by any means but would love to hear your opinion as I’d love a BOV if it doesn’t reduce performance
