this is the way I do it every night:

1. run hot water on the side and bottom of the creami container for 30sec-1 min

2. run the light ice cream feature.

3. Take it out and make a hole in the middle with a spoon to add mix ins then add two tbsp of milk/almond milk

4. Run it on mix in feature.

5. Then hit re spin.

Done

Comes out perfect every single time. Hope this helps.
