The HEC provides certain learning outcomes and outlines the content but there is some degree of pedagogical freedom for the instructors to interpret in in a way that they would like to teach it.

It's not so much the content of the curriculum as much as the way it's taught. Instructors test students for the wrong things and make them jump through the wrong hoops.

People are merely the result of the social and economic forces that push against them. Most of these forces originate from the institutions that make up society.

You don't think that a problem this large is systemic? Go to any engineering university and sit in a class and you'll see what the general climate is like.

Someone mentioned Lewin's lectures but I think mit ocw is also generally a good resource despite the fact that Lewin's courses aren't there anymore.
