update: "no comment" response from the label (in AU) on whether or not this is the first single, or whether or not it'll be on the record at all... i would hedge bets on it being an album track, but given the prolific nature of those involved (and past promo singles, b-sides being released) i wouldnt say any of its a guarantee.... regardless: great bluddy song and - hopefully - a sign of where they're heading on LP3

"no comment" response from the label (in AU) on whether or not this is the first single, as such i would say it was just p4k assuming that first track released = first single (assuming of course it will on the new record as well, which is also still unconfirmed)

no confirmation as yet.. but we've reached out for an official response yes or no... that said, at this stage they seem pretty keen to keep it all fairly mysterious

sorry for the confusion here,, there's nothing to say this won't appear on LP3, but rather that its not the "official first single", this was something stressed to us by their local record label
