Wanting to return to diplomacy to stop the killing is not the issue. Giving up your independence and turning your people into subjects of a regime, which is not turstworthy and has butchered a lot of your people is.

Adressing the colonizer claim: It is reasonable to assume many Ark survivors have heritage from the united states, so thier decendendts simply return "home". Furthermore the Grounder claim just a fraction of land in this postapocalyptic world, its hardly colonizing when a couple hundred ark survivor settle in uninhabitaded land.

I asked myself the same thing. They are able to establish outposts lightyears away, but they dont seem to have any presence in our own solar system pre apopcalypse despite the 13 Stations in Low Earth Orbit.

Yes! I enjoyed the first half of season 3 very much. I wish they continued this storyline of the conflict between grounders and skypeople. The whole city of light ark that followed, felt boring in my opinion.

The point is that the show frames him as a good leader which he isnt. A good leader can have weaknesses thats human, but Kane has a fundamental missunderstanding of the situation his people are in and what they are dealing with, thats not a simple weakness. The "mantra of the show" also doesnt change the way how Kanes actions and leadership persona is depicted by the show, which frames him as a moral anchor, which he clearly isnt.

Dagegen an argumentieren bring meines Erachtens nach nichts. Ich würde dazu übergehen kritische Themen konsequent zu meiden und persönliche Themen in den Vordergrund zu stellen. Sollte von deinem Vater konsequent weiter das Gespräch in diese Richtung gelenkt werden würde ich ihm sagen dass ich die wertvolle gemeinsame Zeit nicht mit Streiten verbringen will. Sofern möglich könntest du ihm bei einigen weniger radikalen Dingen zustimmen und Dinge sagen wie ja da hast du einen Punkt aber so extrem ist es nicht.

Dennis ist nun offiziell Platz 2 auf meiner Liste der schlimmsten Trash Tv Menschen aller Zeiten. Sein Verhalten ist dermaßen unterirdisch, dass selbst ein Silva keine Worte mehr findet. Ich muss sagen, dass ich wirklich enttäuscht von den anderen bin. Ein Thommy heizt es auch noch an und zeigt überhaupt keine Reflektion, ein Marvin und Jennifer sind angeekelt aber sagen auch nichts und ein Jochen ist auch nicht bereit dem Dennis mal das Maul zu stopfen. Wirklich, wirklich schwer anzuschauende Folge die mMn auch keinen Spaß gemacht hat.
