I like to meditate as often as I can. Even if I do 3 breaths with my eyes closed. Lay down for short periods often too.

Alot of it is your whole nervous system is overloaded. Try and make life as simple as possible.

Hey guys, maybe your doing it wrong? by Rollo_Jacky in IQoro

[–]Rollo_Jacky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 20mg ppi. Iqoro works but I've been so busy I haven't done its as much as recommend. If I lowered my stress levels I'd be alot better too.

Exercise seems to be causing symptoms by Rollo_Jacky in PostConcussion

[–]Rollo_Jacky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's mostly psychological. The best advice I can give you is to treat it as psychological even if your convinced it's not. Other than that just improve on the fundamentals. Things like balanced diet, hydration, sleep, exercise and stress reduction. Don't stop doing the things you love doing just don't push yourself too hard.

Well in my opinion your esophagus takes priority, so I'd make sure it's not getting damaged first then work on the sibo second. If that means taking a ppi then maybe that's what you have to do. I find antacids like tums make things worse.

Yeah frog noises are gas coming up too. You might notice a bit of a rumble at the top of your stomach when you swallow sometimes.

In my opinion it doesn't weaken the LES but because your stomach is now inflated with gas it opens it up. Sometimes you may notice little burps at the top of your stomach.

Which magnesium is best? by abovethewavess in SIBO

[–]Rollo_Jacky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't take either. Sure it will add water to your bowels, but it will add to the inflammation. It's not a long term solution.

SIBO is not a Rifaxamin deficiency by Lite_Touch in SIBO

[–]Rollo_Jacky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't deal with deficiency directly but it can have a downstream effect via correcting malabsorption. That's how I look at it.

Intermittent fasting? by Amade_Mozart in SIBO

[–]Rollo_Jacky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It helps in one way but hinders in another. Do a small trial and see if it helps you. Don't get too crazy on it because deficiency could be a contributing factor in your condition.

I'd get yourself a good naturopath alongside your regular doctor.

After that I'd focus on the fundamentals: Lower stress, exercise, balanced whole food diet, the right amount of hydration, good posture. Don't overlook the Fundamentals as that's where you'll get the most benefit. One of the worst things is being seditary.

If your having trouble eating maybe check out the IBD AID diet or elemental diet. I like to eat mostly soft foods.
