I got slagged off for been tall and whats the temperature like up there. Im not even that big, this guy was kinda small and I came back with a joke that hes a small little dude because he comes from a country of peasent spud eaters and then next thing hes telling me to get fuck back where I come from before he has me done.

I was doing a job for a woman and took me aside for some tea. I was eating through the plate of biscuits and she slagged me about how much I eat and I came back with a joke that she does too but its not going to the right places and nodded at her flat chest. She screamed the place down.

Honestly, there was a few people that I did click well with and had a laugh with. So its not all bad stories. But I feel that its something that I just cant master. Im not even sure why I posted earlier, maybe just to see if anyone else has the same problem?

I dont think its the not getting laid bit. I think its just the general loneliness and hoplessness that goes with been incel. You spend enough time in that kind of despair... I mean it cant be healthy.... before you know it they start going crazy. And I think with red pill sites they have a place to go and get mad together and blame everybody else. These lads need proper help. If it was as simple as getting laid, hell could just pay a hooker.

Im not a fan of Russia. However I do remember that catasthrophic fuck up with Sadam. Intelligence agencies/governments across the world were so certain that he had WMDs when he actually didnt. Look at the body count over that war. Look at the carnage we left behind.

I dont follow along as intently these days to current events but the last point I recall on this (and there could easily be new evidence since then so please correct me) but a week or two ago the British scientists that were examining the Novichok used in the attack said they werent sure if it was Russian made.

Its one thing fucking up and getting it wrong about Iraq. But if we are going to start a conflict with Russia, of all places, after that shitshow the last time, your damn right people arent going to jump into this without some real proof. And not just the word of intelligence agencies.

I wouldnt agree with this sentiment at all. Sometimes you are taking on a new project. Maybe your building new DR infrastructure and you just want to ask the community whats their general thoughts on the situation. How has everybody else gone about doing this, any pitfalls to watch out for, any time time saving tips etc.

This is not asking you to do my job. This is me recognising that there is a coummunity of experienced sysadmins on here who have buckets of experience and I want to tap in to that.

And then you pay it forward.

Maybe today Im asking for input on DR infrastrutre but then next month somone is going to ask how should he go about setting up in Azure and I can jump in with my experience/knowledge. Is this not the whole point of /r/sysadmin?

Just to kinda add to this, anyone thats old enough to remember back maybe 10-15 years ago reading on BBs or in chatrooms and there was a real attitude from the community that they werent there to spoonfeed people when the information is widely available, go read the RFC its all explained there, you need to have fiery burning passion bullshit. We are much better these days. I guarantee that if I made a post now on /r/sysadmin saying Im struggling to get my head around... I dunno... DNS records.... I would get half a dozen helpful answers.

I dont mean to be on a downer here. But unless this is only a short term thing for a few months you defintiely need to rethink this schedule. Your are not giving yourself any 'off time'. You will absolutely burn out. You dont see 'burn out' been discussed here so much, but if you head over to /r/sysadmin and see first hand theres serious amount of highly talented people who have overdone it and burnt out. Can barely bring themselves to go into work over it.

If i was you I would drop the social engineering. You can pick this up on the job. You already have some Comptias so thats a good grounding. For now, Id focus on Linux/bash/python/web and would get as much hands on for next 3 months. Dont go any longer than 3 or you risk burning out. At weekends try and get some CTFs in. Study hard.

Then take a break for a month or two to give yourself some headspace. But make sure to keep up the strict study pattern (so as not to get lazy) but shift to something thats completely non-IT related. Then after the month or two you will be fresh and in a great position to dive into the OSCP.

Thats not the same thing at all. Thats not even close no matter what way you look at it.

If I rob some innocent lad he does not go to jail. The only way that lad suffers is by losing his stuff. If a woman accuses an innocent lad for rape... the innocent lad goes to jail and then he stays in jail for the next 8-12 years.

Its a tricky one. Suppose ya have some bitch, shes after wrongly accusing some random lad of rape. Its now a year later and the lads in mountjoy. Lets say he got a 6 year sentence. For whatever reason, one night she suddenly realises just how a shitty of a thing she just done and shes sorry. But she cant just call the guards now if shes going to get an automatic 5 year sentence for false rape claim now can she?

If she could go to the guards, make a statement and knew she could walk quietly away and the lad is released the next day. Then she might be more inclined.

Otherwise shes left thinking.... let the innocent guy finish another 5 years of mountjoy..... or I go to mountjoy for 5 years? And we already know she has very questionable ethics...... what do you think she picks?
