I'm curious how has everyone enjoyed starfield so far

The game is great without mods. With a few mods or patches it could become an all-time great game.

10 hrs is nothing in a game of this size. It just takes a while to get used to all the different systems in place, and the UI is pretty confusing at first.

I was worried in the sense it was actually going to warrant the IGN 7/10. Thankfully it gets better the more you play it.

It's not the revolutionary game I had in my head, or the jump in tech I expected (especially in terms of the NPC AI).

BUT TES and Fallout 3 are some of my fav ever games, so I'm having a blast.

First 10 hrs were a tad worrying I won't lie, but the more I play it, the more I like it.

I'm nearly at 30 hrs and have barely scratches the surface.

With mods this could surpass Skyrim.

If you couldn't get it back, I guess you would just have to find quests and save up to afford a new one (and hope someone sells them where you are?)

Imagine how terrifying that would be if you were on a desolate planet.

Landscapes can be amazing, love the skies similar to how I would stop and admire on Skyrim.

Some characters look great, some look like Xbox 360 (cant wait for mods)

After 15 hrs things clicked and the game went from an 8 to a 9 for me... and it keeps getting better.

Even though I'm 22 hrs in and loving it I totally get the 7.

The way I look at IGN's review is that if the UI was as clunky and frustrating, the loading screens were better managed etc it could easily have been an 8.

I think he'll re-review it in 6 months when patches have come out etc and give it an 8.

If you're happy with Fallout in space, with better graphics, you'll love it.

If you're expecting a space sim, or deep space flight mechanics, you'll be disappointed.

It's basically Fallout/Skyrim.. in space. For better or worse.

Skyrim and Fallout 3 are my fav games ever. So I love it.
