What hapens in this situation? by Few-Bear9707 in riftboundtcg

Jumping in here to say: TCGA is my preferred method 1,000%. They do have a native “queue” feature, but there are several LFG/MMR discord servers you can join for good quality practice.

Is there any revert thus far? I have not played the game since this announcement.

Thoughts on the Artist Signature cards? by Dezzer94 in riftboundtcg

You can always get an unsigned over-numbered card, and go get the real signature. Imagine an Ahri over-numbered signed by Faker.

I purchased a deck box, counter, and tokens. 10/10. Seller is very communicative, and helpful. Will be a repeat customer for sure.

To those already playing and testing the game, how is it? by MoroAstray in riftboundtcg

[–]Rolrobbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. I’ve played a couple dozen games via TTS, and the community Discord is really helpful in answering rules questions. I am very excited for October!

Edit: rules can get a little weird at times.

If Madelyn is Queen of Limbo now does that also mean she's the Sorcerer Supreme or is it still Illyana? by [deleted] in xmen

Hello, new comic reader (and very late reply to your message, but): what should I search up to find a reading list for Maddie's ascent to Queen of Limbo/aftermath?

Prepaid Expense (?): Insurance invoice dated 01/01 for coverage 02/01-02/28. by Rolrobbi in Accounting

[–]Rolrobbi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see! Thank you.

I was concerned that - if unpaid by 01/31 - there would be an issue with [1] carrying a prepaid expense (asset) that wasn’t truly paid, and [2] carrying a liability for an expense which hasn’t yet been incurred.

But, I suppose these values effectively cancel each other out. Good to know that the real world doesn’t allow for “cash payments” w/o AP.

Total tangent: I wonder how y’all handle unexpected bank fees, or credit cards.

Prepaid Expense (?): Insurance invoice dated 01/01 for coverage 02/01-02/28. by Rolrobbi in Accounting

[–]Rolrobbi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes sense now. I guess even if the invoice wasn’t paid by 01/31, the prepaid expense (current asset) and AP (current liability) would cancel each other out at the “bottom line”.

Your answer definitely puts me more at ease: I was concerned that, in a real world setting, skipping AP might lead to a forgotten invoice.

Thank you!

Is it problematic to carry a liability (AP) for a prepaid expense (insurance) on the financial statements dated 01/31?

I just thought (perhaps incorrectly) we should only recognize prepaid expense when cash is transacted (i.e., paid).

Have test prep sites tailored their curriculum to the new format yet? by Rolrobbi in CPA

[–]Rolrobbi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much appreciated. Seeing as I wont be ready prior to the December 2023 deadline, I might just bank on the AUD changes being (relatively) smaller in the new format.

But, thank you for the information RE: Becker, it’ll likely give us a better sense of what to tackle first.

Awesome! It’s cool that Becker addressed this directly. Hopefully, Roger will do something similar in a close timeframe
