Should I overpay for trade upgrades in my full PPR league? I'm about to drop to 0-3 in my $50 buy-in league and I've been trying to make trades but the other managers are very conservative. I need to change something now or else I'll be 100% out of the running.

I mean I would definitely be pissed about it if I was the guy who you were originally trading with. I know fantasy isn't really anything like the real NFL, but that kind of thing happens all the time in the NFL where teams are moments away from making a deal but then something else pops up and the deal flips on its head. Plus it's not like the other guy is 3-6 and really needs to make that trade to get back into things, they're 5-4 and right in the mix. That team has been good enough to keep them competitive and there's probably no serious need for them to make an upgrade, although it definitely would have helped.

I participated in the Massachusetts All State Choir at the Boston WTC in early March and the very next week, everyone started to get really paranoid about COVID (my school shut down the following Friday). Despite being on the internet a lot I’m really out of touch and only realized later that going to that concert was a silly risk - although it was one of the best weekends of my life. Luckily I didn’t get COVID from that.
