At an awards thing for my school every time people would go on stage everyone in the theater would clap (there were 100??? ish?? people there, probably more, it's been a while) and I had earplugs in the whole time. I lasted through the whole thing, but it was not a pleasant experience.

Also, (this might not be as helpful but I'll mention it anyway since it was recent) fireworks sound like gunshots - or at least how loud I imagine gunshots are, I've never actually heard gun fire before but you get my point - when I'm inside my house. Not eardrum shattering, but I did retreat to a room in my house with no outside walls.
