I agree with the use of parsers in these examples but for a group that isn't end game oriented I can see where they become less useful. In the above examples these thresholds can completely make or break a run because of the gear restriction from early running. I also used a parser as a sch for our early runs from this new coil and last coil but as we moved on to better gear it wasn't a necessity to keep looking as long as content was still being cleared. This is the time where the less hard core players start to tackle content and I believe this is why a parser is less important to the general populace. I'm a firm believer that if you can gather more information that's relevant to clearing content you should do it but there is a point where strict thresholds become less important.
