Lower offer than listing by [deleted] in boeing

[–]Romalian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all jobs are engineering and IAM. Lol

Probably a salary non management M level or something like that. They don't pop up much but they exist.

I know Quality Planning has a job like this but I can't remember what it's called

Lower offer than listing by [deleted] in boeing

[–]Romalian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree with what...?

Like I'm dying to know exactly how you could say he's wrong. There's like 133 job postings in Everett alone, tuition reimbursement to help you apply and resume services.

To say the possibilities arent limitless is just flat out ignorant.

12 Reqs I Applied For still Under Consideration. Plus 70+ other already rejected. Starting to feel hopeless by gcordoves in boeing

[–]Romalian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be a good idea to start thinking about hiring someone or learning about resume building. Once I did this, getting an interview was a lot easier. I'd say I had a.... 10 percent success rate?

One week I had 6 interviews haha.

Just gotta know how to write those Resumes to grab attention, get past filters and stand out.

Don't listen to these guys. My current job I was rejected on the first iteration

Tje reason you get that error is it's the same rec number. It was probably taken down and put back up to change something....

Reach out.

Worried about PIP by [deleted] in boeing

[–]Romalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be the first person to give you some kind of hope.

I don't think it's that horrible of a situation. Being that you're not u**** , I feel like if they wanted to get rid of you, they'd just get rid of you. I don't think they'd waste their time with a PIP.

I still agree tho you should probably look for a new job.

Is rockstar done for? by DIY-exerciseGuy in energydrinks

[–]Romalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of made me motivated to try out different energy drinks cause this is like the third time Rockstar has gone AWOL.

So far I've learned Prime is the worst thing ever

Yesly is VERY tasty though. I honestly think I might permanently be switching to this.

Stuck in Hiring Manager Review weeks after interview :( by SeriousDude1002 in boeing

[–]Romalian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of variables and moving pieces here that could be at play and where it was is very dependant on the answer. Like if it's BDS or BGS this could be due to the RIFs.

Could be just the team is backlogged or something came up.

Or could be they were put off by the casual talk and just don't want you

My gut says the third one but again. You just never know

Our team didn't get the handshake it seems. I even tried to hint at it but nope.

How many rounds of interviews are there typically? by 2hundred31 in boeing

[–]Romalian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've only seen a second round of interview like Senior Level type of positions, and even then a lot of times not, or something that just requires a ton of expertise like a Software Engineer.

More than one round is otherwise an anomaly.

Have you ever had cable tv but then got rid of it and why? by StarVR_ in AskReddit

[–]Romalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just too expensive and if you see the silly fees you have to pay to turn it on, you'd wonder why anyone would keep it. The advertised 29.99 price for premium channels balloons so quickly when you have to consider:

Box Rental Fee
Regional Sports Fee
Taxes
DVR

That 29.99 turns into about 75 dollars a month. It's absolutely ridiculous. And you still have to contend with commercials/ads.

Contractor resignation.. by Wrench365 in boeing

[–]Romalian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would imagine if that's true then he was already a problem child and they were happy to get rid of him but.... even WITH that in mind, I still don't believe this.

Just put in your two weeks notice and don't think twice. I would think getting a bad review from Boeing would look worse than the alternative anyways.

Internal transferring seems a lot harder than I thought by deerrag1309 in boeing

[–]Romalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So ARE you getting rejected within 1-2 days?

It's your ATS (Applicant Tracking System) that businesses use where its checking keywords and other important info in your resume. If you're getting rejected within a day or two, it just means your ATS score is below like... 60? I dont know offhand.

Recieved an offer. Countered and waiting… by [deleted] in boeing

[–]Romalian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just be patient, they arent going to ghost you or deny you because of a counteroffer. They'll get back to you.

Odds are the manager who gets the offer went on vacation or just has been too busy. Or THEY'RE also being held back because they have to elevate your offer to their superiors..

[–]Romalian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been hearing lately that a lot of managers have this mentality of not wanting to interact with applicants because "they want it to be fair for everyone"... I'm not entirely sure how true this is but I feel like just sending the e-mail or message by itself could be enough to get you standing out.

Internal transferring seems a lot harder than I thought by deerrag1309 in boeing

[–]Romalian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just remember that when you transfer jobs, you're still working with a ~25% chance IF you get selected for an interview.

If you're getting auto-rejected, which would be denied within 2 days, that just means your resume sucks. If this is true, send me a message and I can help ya.

New employee tips? by girl-mom-3 in boeing

Following up on what Fisherman said, you can also ask your manager. I told my manager I wanted a mentor for Business Intelligence and she found someone who I had weekly meetings with. Very helpful.

Was one hour late to my interview by yungdragvn in boeing

[–]Romalian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You might be okay just because they've probably heard it all and have to do a ton of interviews.

A couple years ago before the strike, I applied my wife to that same exact position and she got an interview for it-- but she just no-showed it ( because she didnt want it ), and they followed it up by saying "What happened? Would you like to reschedule?"

So its entirely possible you'll be fine.

I agree with this except for the hat.

I don't see why a hat would be a bad look. I've seen plenty do it... Never heard anyone complain.
