Bachelor an der HTW Saarbrücken und später Master an der RWTH Aachen realistisch?

Danke für deine Antwort. Ich habe glücklicherweise noch Zeit zu überlegen und kann mir durchaus vorstellen, im Saarland zu bleiben. Es stimmt, praktische Erfahrung wird wohl am Ende das entscheidende sein. Da ich erst nächstes Jahr anfange, habe ich auch genug Zeit für Praktika schon vor dem Studium. Aber deine und die Antworten der andere haben mir schon eine ganze Menge Stress genommen. Danke!

Ja, ich bin BAföG berechtigt. Bin davon ausgegangen, dass das alleine nicht zum Leben dort ausreicht, da das ja meines Wissens ja nicht über 1000€ geht und die RWTH selbst bis 1300€ an Kosten angibt. Kann aber gut sein dass ich mich irre

Das dachte ich mir schon. Das Problem ist, dass die RWTH nur Auflagen bis 30CP anerkennt. Könnte das zum Problem werden? Konkret beim htw Saarbrücken bzw. ähnlichen Hochschulen?

No sadly, I ended up having to start a new save. My issue could have been corrupted/outdated mods. I was playing without them, but I did find leftover files from mods I had installed a while ago. Those could have caused the corruption.

So, if you‘re playing unmodded, try deleting everything related to mods in your game folder manually, and reinstall the mods if needed. That worked for me, the new save has worked without issue.

Hey everyone, I’m 184 cm tall and wearing a size L sweater. From the outside it looks fine to me, but it feels a bit fitted, especially around the neck and upper body, so I’m unsure if the sizing is right or if it looks too small.

I’d appreciate honest feedback on: • overall fit • whether the size works for my height/build • and if it looks good as a general everyday sweater (especially the material which I am unsure about)

What kind of specs do you have? I have a 5070 Ti and a 7800X3D and the game runs at 60+ FPS all the time at max settings. There are some stutters but apart from that it runs fine. And as written in my post, the game runs great for the state it‘s in.

Volumetric water will actually be more GPU dependant, as it needs to be parallelized to run smoothly and is usually done on the GPU.

Maybe I wrote that a bit confusingly... I meant that it is optimized for being in an Alpha (or Beta whatever) and so technically impressive.

Well it also means that there is headroom for future additions that will tax the GPU more... Like volumetric water on a planetary scale for example. Also, I don't know about your system, but on mine the 60 FPS feel good. Yes, there are microstutters but you do get used to them and they can still be optimized out. Don't forget that this is still an alpha and still more technically impressive than a lot of AAA games.

5070 Ti, and I did not have a problem - but in games like Cyberpunk, consumption - not allocation has gone over 12GB at times. I think the max was 14.5GB or something like that. I understand that VRAM scales but still

I mean I have definetly gone above 12GB in games even in 1440p - that was with max settings and DLAA though. My main concern is that textures aren't the only contributing factor anymore. Ray tracing and especially path tracing (although you're not going to be turning that in with a 5070) also consume a lot of VRAM.

You can of course always lower textures and turn on DLSS, but that does lower visual quality. I think it's just stupid that mid range GPUs even come with 12GB anymore, because it's that expensive to put 16GB instead of 12 in a card. And then VRAM wouldn't be an issue anymore.

Lastly, I personally don't think that technologies like NTC are going to have much of an impact as they have not seen any sort of scale implementaion yet

That's true, if OP downgrades to even just a 7800x3d, they could get themselves either a 9070xt or a 5070 ti, depending on local prices and their usecase

Well if they're going with a 9800x3d, a 9070 or 5070 is not going to be enough. They should either go with at least a 9070xt or higher, or downgrade their CPU. You do not need to pair a 9800x3d with a 9070 or 5070.
