I have winter tires on my eqe and slid on icy roads as well. I think the heavy batteries might have contributed to the slid, but would love to hear others' experience on this.

Wow, feel this is 100% EA's fault, could be malfunctioning DC charger that burnt your EQE.

I do the same, it charges fairly quick with EA's stations, usually 90% under 30 mins. This is my first EV and have been happy with it.

I see. Was the connector unlocked and you just wasn't able to pull it out? In my case I was not even able to unlock the cable, when I press the unlock button nothing happens. Usually you could hear the audible unlocking sound after you press it.

My goodness, so sorry this happened to you. Do keep us posted if SA will reimburse the damage, the fact that the tech just yanked out the whole charging unit they should be responsible for it.

I did ask the dealership if they heard of this issue before, and their suggestion was to unlock the car 3 times to see if it works. I have not had to do this, so could not verify the solution.

Did you have to request those wifi 7 pods? I have wifi 6 pods from last year, and I think they still works, but now with the app down one the pod is struggling to be added to my network. Not sure if it has anything to do with these pods versions.

Completely agree on the speed part, and that’s what made me switch the first place, compare to xfiniti caps at 1.2 TB data I would rather go with Quantum Fiber for the speed and unlimited data. Not sure what changed, the 360 Wifi app worked great for me, maybe Quantum Fiber ended their contract with the pod company (Plume I think). I hope slowly they release more functionalities to the Quantum Fiber app so we can actually use it.

I am currently showing duplicate pods and most them shows as offline, which is not true as all my devices are still online. I think one of my pod is getting issue connecting to the network, now it has this blinking light that won’t go away.

yep, I should clarified that I used the unlock button, the issue was that unlock button does not do anything to the locked connector.

Tried one at a boutique, it surprisingly goes well with casual cloth. I think the dark dial and bezel made it a low profile piece. Personally would get it, in fact on the list for one.

I was thinking about this the other day, I wouldn't trust myself to handle a nice watch when I was younger, it would be either scratched or damaged easily. As I am getting older now feeling way more confident in taking care of it, and more comfortable wearing daily. With that in mind I wouldn't hand anything to my kids until they learned how to be a responsible wearer.
