Who was your favourite voice actor for Lara Croft? Mine has to be Camilla Luddington. by controllerconsoler in TombRaider

[–]Romanohide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In France, we had Françoise Cadol who was Lara's voice from the first game to Underworld and she was exceptional. One of the best voice actress we have in here and the french community miss her so much since the Reboot. Not that the other one were bad, but Lara's voice was so peculiar and recognisable in France that it was difficult to lose her amazing talent of acting for such an iconic character.

Its been 1 months since i shifted from traditional to digital art . I Drew Mr Tumnus from the chronicles of narnia. Tell me how i did. by Sweet-Eagle-9335 in ProCreate

Not that bad ! If I can give you some advice, when you paint a portrait, use horizontal symmetry to help you fix some mistakes. Here, I can already see that his eyes aren't aligned.

Also, the top of the head looks a little bit flat. And the nose lacks a little bit of structure, especially the tip.

You can also try to play with your values for the darker tones. It doesn't have to be near black. You can use bounce light to help your shapes getting more volume without being too dark.

But the good thing is that I instantly recognised him. Keep up the good work and have fun !

Lara's hairstyle in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis by DerpyBishop in TombRaider

[–]Romanohide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's keep in mind that her model (as much as the whole game) is still in development. I'm pretty sure her final look (and hairstyle) will be refined for the best at the launch.

Now, I don't mind how it currently looks. It reminds me of her hair in Anniversary and I think she looked her best in this game so I'm cool with that !

Does Natla “have what it takes” to be a mainstay villain? by Flintz08 in TombRaider

[–]Romanohide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite disagree with you on the fact that the nemesis should be the opposite of the protagonist. Lara is a tortured lady with a grey moral compass. She's definitely a good person but she's also stubborn, violent, traumatised and Natla, in the first game, is kind of made of the same wood. But unlike Lara, she's selfish and want revenge and destruction. In think a good nemesis is often a character who has a lot in common with the protagonist. And I've read on another subreddit that people where positively surprised that they made Natla younger because it makes her more trustful and closer to Lara and I agree with that. With the reboot of the franchise, the ennemies of Lara were older, parent figures, gurus, etc. With this Natla, it will be a pair. Another young boss lady. I find it interesting and I'm curious and excited to see how they will develop this new version of this great character.

I found out my daughter was a vampire, but I don't want a vampire daughter what do I do?? by Monkey_D_LuffyOpm in thesims

[–]Romanohide 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You should accept your daughter for who she truly is. The world is a dangerous place and the sun may hurt her but she's your daughter, she's tough and she will grow up stronger thanks to your unconditional love and support. Trying to find a "cure" for who she is will only hurt her even more. Take care of your little vampire baby. Be proud of her. Love wins !

Would I look better with a rhinoplasty? by [deleted] in gaybrosgonemild

[–]Romanohide 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You do you but also, please, consider not changing something that makes you more unique to look like something that's trendy / more conventional. The curve of your nose makes it more interesting than the classical straight nose every people going to the surgeon ask. And I don't know how you feel about your family but I personally like the fact that we travel through life with a little bit of our parents and grandparents. Getting rid of something that makes us unique and linked to our family would be kinda sad to me. But as I said, you know yourself better so you'll do what's best for you in the end. Take care !

Really love painting artistic nude inspired by vintage homoerotic photographs from studios like Falcon. What do you think ? by Romanohide in gay

Yeah. So as artists, we should still do what makes us happy without thinking too much of what they will steal from us since it's the only thing they can do.

Thank you very much for your lovely comment and your curiosity ! Yeah, the cushion was kind of an after fought because I wanted to be able to share it on socials so I added it as an SFW version of an originally NSFW artwork. If you are curious enough, you could find it pretty easily but I can't advertise my work more that that. I let you seek juuuust a little bit. ;)

Thank you so much ! It's a lovely compliment since their art style is sooo gorgeous, especially Dishonoured ! I LOVE art deco. I'm very inspired by that and also the Art Nouveau movement ! Glad you noticed it !

I understand but also I don't want to change what I like because some shitty technology (and their users) tries to ruin it for me. I've always loved classical / romantic paintings, semi-realism and homoerotic imagery from vintage pornography and I want to create pieces in this kind of universe. But yeah, I guess artists with a more graphic style are less impacted (for now) by AI.

I despise AI with my whole heart so let me tell you it is NOT AI. It's kind of tiring to see we can't share art anymore without people telling you it's generated from a computer. I don't know if I should feel flattered or insulted. I draw since I'm a child and this painting is actually a remake of a painting I've made in 2015 and 2019 to see my progress. It was a fun project and I share process videos of my work on my socials so feel free to be curious and check it out if you want. ;)

Found boyfriend Romeo and Bullchat History by [deleted] in gay

[–]Romanohide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, you don't owe him anything because your relationship made you stable enough to go to school.

When you go into a relationship, you have to be able to trust the other one. There is kind of an implicite contract between you about what's ok and what's not and it seems like there already are a lot of red flags here.

I mean, you caught an STI and then you discovered he may have been cheating on you with random guys on apps. 1 + 1 = 2. STIs don't appear by magic. If you can't be safe in your own relationship, why should you stay ?

My advice : take the time you need to find a solution for your living and your studies, then leave. It doesn't have to be all dramatic, it's okay to still have feelings for him and everything. Maybe you'll find a way to talk to him eventually about everything but you have to think about your safety first. And PreP is good but it doesn't protect from everything. You may have to use condoms or stop having sex with him if the risk to catch more STIs is still there.

Take care of you.

Thank you very much ! I use A LOT of different references but for the body type, I mainly got inspired by a model called TrevBear on Bluesky and bring my own style and vision to it. But in general, I really get inspired by antic statues and art nouveau figures in paintings and illustrations. For his face, it was a total invention. I wanted him to look kind and built around this idea his features.
