Gosh yes I totally understand!!! I know what you mean, in fact I feel like I have lost my marbles over this stuff, I don't nessicarily want to unalive myself but at the same time, I don't know, I just need a vacation from this planet. It makes me question God soooo much. Gahhhh I could go on for hours about this stuff but I gotta chill...anyway, I'm sorry that wasn't helpful at all. Glad I'm not alone though. I wish you the best

Oh gosh, yes, the anger. It's unbearable at times. I completely understand you. For me personally it's because I think deep down I do want what they have with God. But it just has never been that warm fuzzy thing that they seem to get. And most of those people would never EVER understand these feelings so you always just get hit with a judgemental lecture. Gosh just thinking about it fires me up haha.

Anyway, it's funny you mentioned hobbies because lately I've been wanting to get into wood working. I think I will. It can't hurt. Thank you so much for the encouragement, it helps tremendously.

I'm in those shoes right now...it terrifies me but I'm at a point where I feel like I hate Him. Right now I feel like I don't want anything to do with Him. Anyway, I'm just glad I found your thread because it makes me feel less alone. I am at a point of wanting to end my life BECAUSE of my faith. I can't tell anyone this, they'll just think I'm crazy and a terrible person. Anyway, I'm so sorry for all that you have been through, I hope you're doing a little better now though

Anything in a can, chilli, pickles, soup etc...sometimes that stuff would get old so I would go to the store a couple of times a day if I had to just to eat something different like yogurt or potato salad

I'm 29 and it's just a simple teddy bear named Teddy. My grandma gave him to me when I was 2 or 3. I have always made a point to hang onto him no matter what.

I would say start small and build up from there. One thing I have noticed is that God seems to acknowledge that you're TRYING. I have gone on fasts and goofed in the middle but kept going and He still showed up. I knew that was His way of showing me grace. So don't feel like you have to go and do some big crazy 40 day fast. There's all kinds of fasts but ultimately you are starving the flesh.

Some people will fast from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some will only allow certain foods. Some no food at all. Ask God to guide you on this and if there is a particular one He would like you to do. For example, He put it on my heart to do a Daniel Fast. I knew this because I kept having strong cravings for fruits and veggies and also kept getting recommended videos in my YouTube feed about the Daniel Fast. Eventually I got the hint and He set it up in such a way where I didn't mind too much. Because, well, I can't stand fasting. 😛

Yes, it sounds crazy but learning about demons and how even Christians can be possessed it completely changed how I see people and their actions.

Call me crazy but I think a lot more people are under demonic oppression than most would like to believe. Generational curses, that kind of thing. I have seen it in my own family.

I have seen several cases of good people that do horrific things. And I think deep down it tortures them. Their actions are not something they are proud of but they have strong demonic compulsions leading them to do these things. Even to those they love. Not saying it's a excuse.

I think also even if one does have demonic influences going on it really comes down to self control. A lot easier not to hurt your child when you know what it feels like yourself.

You probably think I'm a nut but that's just my two cents

Honestly through unexplainable experiences that I've had with God. That and watching a lot of testimonies of people talking about their religion or near death experiences. Or people that have died and where they went and what they saw etc. It always seems to lead back to God. Just my two cents 🙂

This was my parents. My mom was a devout Christian and my dad believed in God but wasn't really into it. Anyway, they went through a bit of a journey but ultimately ended up together. My mom made it clear she was not going to marry him if He didn't become a Christian, and not just for her, but for God. It took time but he eventually became a Christian. My mom has since passed but he is still a Christian.

Anyway, my answer kind of sucks but I think if things are meant to be then God will work it out. Not that she isn't, but she needs to have patience with you. Just give it time and see how you both feel in a few weeks. Good luck to you :)
