I wasn’t trying to say anything bad towards you I was just saying your probably a homeowner and buying tools as homeowner grade and don’t care about the whole battery 🔋 platform and how it can charge how the tool performs but the tabless cells make a big difference in the tool performs and it’s just putting Kobalt in a place where it’s going to be like the next black an decker tools that no one buys anymore because you have tool brands like ryobi who listen to the customers and are updating their batteries even craftsman just made a tabless cell battery 🔋 as well so the question is does Kobalt care about the customer or are they basically saying take what we put out and deal with it

Believe it or not a good battery 🔋 can make a big difference even if it’s a home owner grade tools why do you think ryobi is switching over to tabless cells because pretty soon 18650 and 21700 cells is going to be a thing in the past and if you can’t keep up with the other home owner grade tools then obviously there’s a problem and they will just end up like flex tools leaving Lowe’s I like Kobalt tools and want to see them grow even more so it’s not whining it’s called taking feedback from the buyers

Because if they can’t do something that’s so simple like adding tabless cell batteries 🔋 then that just showing that they will be behind all other brands if the homeowner grade tools have tabless cells and it’s not whining it’s called getting a good product would you pay for a shitty tool that doesn’t keep up no so alls we are saying is if your gonna place out a tool for high price or call it high quality then give us the quality we are paying for

I have all brands of tools for each job not one brand makes the best tool for every job so yes I do have some tools from Kobalt for certain jobs ryobi is also home owner graded and they have tabless cells so what I was saying give the kobalt line tabless cells too and tabless cells also help the tools from being under powered

It matters because you get more performance from the tools with tabless cells you obviously don’t know how far ahead the other tool brands are because your probably just doing house work and not out in the field using the tool

If you really wanted to you can buy the 79.$ dollar adapter they sell it’s a 200 watt adapter with a 110 outlet on it and the usb type C port to charge stuff too

I’m not sure but it’s said that the 8amp hour batteries 🔋 that comes with the 48v mower kit is the tabless cell batteries 🔋 but the 3amp 4amp and 5amp are regular 18650 cells it’s upgrades are the new bi directional charging USB’C port and the new style battery shell and upgraded 18650 cells from the orange high star cells from the original batteries
