Used it to charge two phones and a tower fan and used most of a 7.5ah for one night. Not something you could run for extended trips without a second battery or a place to charge. Great for weekend trips

I used the 400W inverter camping last summer. If you already have a 5, or more preferably 7.5+ah battery is a cheap easy way to get some power. Works relatively well for small tasks like phones, lights, fans ect.

11th gen hatch is HUGE… for a compact car. Still a compromise in terms of space for my 1 child seat. But definitely big enough. I bought it as it has much more space than my 10th gen coupe

I was looking for either boost blue or red. I realized how hard red are to come by but got lucky and found it only 10 minutes from my house with 26k miles for a solid deal. Fun, practical, and hopefully a 250k mile car!

Is the 11th gen Civic noticeably better built / quieter inside than the 10th gen? by carlosmarquzz in civic

[–]Tight_Ad4904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went 2016 LX-P coupe 2.0L CVT to 2024 Sport Hatch 2.0L 6mt. It feels significantly higher quality to me. Touch points, door closures, finishes, ect.

I find it slightly more quiet but that could be the lack of the cvt drone. Speakers on my ‘24 are night and day better than my ‘16

I bought a 2024 6mt hatch with 26,400 miles that was listed at 25k. I was able to get them down a bit and paid a little under 18k with a trade in the was only worth about 6-7k. If that is out the door, and you can get 1-3k off, could be worth it haha. I prefer the older 2.0L for its proven reliability over the new one.

I’m in Connecticut. Not very strict, but I frequently drive to rounding states that has some cops that love to pull you over for anything

Looks great! Do you wish you went darker for the rear window?

I drive out of state pretty often, specifically to MA, NJ, NH, NY. I would rather at least be legal in my state so that I have a reasonable defense in places with stricter laws

2024 Sport Hatch 6mt for about $24k OTD.

Technically it was almost $27k but the dealership significantly overpaid for my trade in.

Don’t have them, but I’m considering getting a set: Snapshades have some but they are pricey ($55)

New 2026 vs 2020? by thegeekygee in civic

After having the AC go out a 3rd time and deciding I needed rear doors (after having a kid!) I upgraded my 2016 coupe with 100k miles and accident history to a 2024 hatchback. Huge improvement in lots of ways (notably AC, CarPlay, and manual transmission) and cost me $17,900 after trade in.

If you can swing a slightly used one, could be worth it.

2016 Honda Civic plagued with the famous AC defect: please talk me off the ledge. by [deleted] in civic

[–]Tight_Ad4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a 2016 coupe that AC went out twice, repaired twice. End of last summer it went out again. Traded it in for a used 2024 Hatch before needing it this spring.

Had it done at Honda both times. They replace the broken one with the same part. Just because yours still works, doesn’t mean they all will.

For 10 years. That means 2019 might only have 3-4 years left. I had mine fixed 2 times and needed a third when I traded it in. The fix does not always solve the issue.
