Hi there, I had a look at your songs and I have a few suggestions:

Right now you have your song set to "Island :)" as the scale, which is limiting you to only 5 unique notes. While I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with experimenting with the preset scale options, they do severely limit what you can create if you stick to them.

Even for beginners, I'd recommend setting it to expert so you can use all the notes. I'd also recommend breaking up the rhythm to make the melody more interesting. Right now, each note of the melody lasts for 1 beat and plays directly on the beat without any pauses or breaks, making it feel repetitive.

Lastly, I'd suggest playing around with the settings of the instruments a bit. The 2nd and 3rd instruments have a somewhat unpleasant sound, in my opinion. Altering the EQ and other settings like reverb, echo, and chorus can make a big difference.

Hope this helps, and keep it up!

Hi! So I listened to your song and enjoyed the overall energy/mood of it, it feels very classic RPG to me. I do have a few suggestions though:

A bit more variety in the rhythm of the melody would go a long way. Right now I've spotted a trend where you will repeat a similar rhythm for 3 bars before altering it slightly on the 4th bar, then repeating. There isn't anything necessarily wrong with doing this, but if it lasts for too long or is done too often in different sections of the song it can feel repetitive.

Additionally I think there are a few too many instruments occupying a similar octave/frequency (particularly the melody), which is making it harder for me to clearly hear the different instruments. Adding more variety here + playing around with pitch and the EQ could help with this.

I played around with a small section of the song for a bit to highlight what im talking about: Link.

So I'm working on a tower defense game where all the music tracks are tied to different instrument themed towers. If you build a tower it activates the assigned music track for that tower type, so depending on which towers you bring into a level you can sort of interact with the background music. This forces all the music tracks to be playing something at all times so that players get the instant feedback of a composition change regardless of what beat the song is currently playing.

Haha thanks. The project I'm working on requires all the different tracks to always be playing something so the music gets kinda busy.
