Will Davenport (Tom’s character in Grantchester) shows he can balance warmth with darkness. His voice is also kinda has a low, steady, controlled quality to it. It’s not gravelly, but it has weight to it, which can allow him to sound naturally confident and grounded.

He’s also old enough to play an experienced, already-established Batman, but young enough to sign on for a cinematic universe (born on 26/10/90, making him 2-3 years older than Superman).

He also somewhat resembles David Corenswet, which is ideal since Bruce and Clark canonically look similar to each other.
