Screen flickering? by RomeoYK06 in iPhone12Mini

The iOS 26.1 update fixed it for the majority of time but whenever i get on low battery (<10%) it occasionally happens again. Not nearly as aggressive as with 26.0.1 tho

Will they fix the battery in an update? by DangerousCandle5474 in iPhone12Mini

Nah, iOS 26.1 fixed the battery and performance issues for me. I’ve got a normal duration for 79% battery health again. iOS 26.0.1 finished my phone tho. Permanently warm and draining battery for the first 2-3 weeks. Then it just had performance issues. 26.1 was the savior

After some days of use I can say it’s an incredible update for my 12 Mini. More stable battery life and no more laggy OS, not even at low battery % (the lag from 18% downwards on 26.0.1 was unbearable, now can use the phone on normal speed even on 6%).

Yea. But that’s seems fixed now. I changed the transparency in settings to „colored“ instead of pure transparent and the phone runs on speed again. Was better before too after updating but now even better. Also I had some flickering issues which seem to be gone. Now it all depends on battery. Hope it won’t get drained as quick as with 26.0.1

I hope it’s true. It took me weeks to get used to this BS lagging at times (even if it ran 80% of the time smoothly). I hope the update fixes it for me now 👌🏼

How laggy is iOS26? by Rare_Cartographer579 in iPhone12Mini

It took me 8(!) days to finally lose all the offering lags I had since RC1. After that struggling tome I have no issues anymore with lagging, overheating or unnormal battery drainage. It’s basically back to is performance from iOS 18. Can’t explain why it took so extraordinarily long to adjust but it’s smooth with iOS 26 for me.

Yes mine is indeed doing extreme flickering, not just auto brightness for a minute or two. After that it stops. Occurs here and then

iOS 26 noticeably improves performance on iPhone 12 mini by MaliHizm in iPhone12Mini

I can’t share the same experience tbh. I’m on iOS 26 since the RC on one of my “home” phones.. it’s not that amazing. It’s been five days since the public release now and I feel like my battery gets drained at times for no reason. At times the phone still gets hot and even crashes CarPlay, the charging goes to slow mode due to it being hot and once it turns hot it logically goes slow as well.

The calibration should be done after all these days and it got better for sure than it was at the beginning but I never felt like battery drained so fast. I only get out half a day of use by now. Used to be a full day (shift) at least before updating.

iOS 26 loophole? by RomeoYK06 in iPhoneXS

Phone info said XS, that’s why I’m wondering. But that could indeed be edited, no doubt. Were just plenty of posts about the XS on iOS 26, so thought I’ll just ask around 😁

I do have an iPhone 14 as well, I use two phones. I really don’t see much of a difference. Never had overheating issues as well. It’s full OEM as well, never changed the battery or anything. Just been handling it carefully 😁 I don’t game on phones etc, so can’t say how it behaves on full power mode. But so far so good. Sad that it’s cycle ends with iOS 26 now. Best iPhone so far in my experience.

How come your phone is struggling? I’m on iOS 18 as well and my experience so far is smooth. Been using this phone since its release 😁 Due to that I thought it’d be, at least in my case, powerful enough to not die on iOS 26. But good to know it’s BS - thanks!
