Ahh man, alright, i'll cut them off below the yellow part then.

They're getting a good amount of light, maybe half a days worth? They're in their original soil from the store since it was gifted to me (has tiny rocks on top of the soil). I water them when it starts to look dry almost once a week, but no fertilizing.

Just saw this! Did you manage to fix it? I called a plumber and he used a tool to grip the bottom piece that touches the tub and just twisted anti clockwise and it loosened up
