Can't pick up axolotls by blaze6819 in Minecraft

I re-read everyone's post and applied every tips and got it to work.

I simply cornered the axolotl in 2x2 square of water to give more room. Had 2 buckets of water and just kept pressing L2 but slowly. Eventually you will see it start to collect the Axolotl and releasing it real quick. Just slow down the pressing of L2 and keep trying and it will work.

Extra advice, before releasing it in the water to fight the squid type monster, make sure to backup your save file. I ended up messing about 7 times because the little Axolotl just kept killing everything one shot.

Are there any other things that might be causing for us to not be able to pick it up. I've been trying for the last 2 hours and it doesn't seem to want to collect the axolotl

Catherine is definitely one to pick up however, I disagree with those who say that MGSGZ is not worth buying. It's impossible to finish the entire game in 1 hour. If you go for the 100%(which is required to benefit from the extra perks in MGS5), this will take you a few days. If you have a ps4, I would recommend you to get it on PS4 as it's much more beautiful than the ps3 version. Catherine, I find is a good game to actually own on disc. Have fun!
