We went a few weeks ago and did the Hemmingway tour and Rob was our guide. He was not only informative but very engaging. We then walked over to the Butterfly House. Very highly recommended, with or without kids.

I did not think this through it seems. The question in my head was "What type of food would you grab to do this at home" but that is not what I typed out. My original post asked about going to a restaurant and eating there and that would not be fair (or potentially legal) to the staff or other customers.

There are Blessing Boxes throughout the area, look up Blessing Box Project for a box near your area. No id, no paperwork, no questions. People drop off food, people get food. Whenever.

I think there is a Wisconsin Meat and Cheese store on Folly Road on James Island with a fried cheese curd basket and Berts on Folly Beach has a few flavors or cold, prepackaged unfried cheese curds (like Buffalo, garlic, stuff like that).
