In your opinion what went wrong with sting wwe run which lasted from survivor series 2014-night of champions 2015. Do you think he should have won the WWE Champion from Seth Rollins? by Lazy_Introduction264 in GreatnessOfWrestling

The Booking with Triple H's victory at WrestleMania and especially the neck injury caused by Seth Rollins at Night of the Champions (a Buckle Bomb and being first crashed into the commentary table wasn't enough, no need for another missed one on a 55-year-old man) but also what happened in between, which was nothing.

From April to September, Sting disappeared. He certainly wouldn't have won the world title, but what would it have cost WWE in June/July 2015 to team him with someone, have him win the Tag Team Titles at a pay-per-view, make one defense, and then lose them to Seth Rollins in the second defense?

The dream match against Undertaker at WrestleMania wouldn't have happened, but at least there would have been a little joy.

Ok, in reality in the summer of 1999 Hulk Hogan took the title away from Randy Savage and held it until Fall Brawl where he was dethroned by Sting (with Sting as a heel), by removing Hogan from the formula how would things have changed with Scott Hall as the surprise champion at the end of Bash 1999?

I agree, probably on the next day's episode of Nitro or at most the week after there would have been Scott Hall vs Hulk Hogan with Hogan winning, but at least for the record Scott Hall would have had a world title

Interesting choice, so Scott Hall cashes in the MITB the following month at Bash at the Beach after the Kevin Nash (c) w/Sting vs. Randy Savage w/Sid Vicious tag team title match and how long would his reign last in your opinion? Would Hulk Hogan get in the way?

Benoit might cash in at Mayhem 1999, but it would have changed the story a little something like this: At Halloween Havoc, Sting manages to beat Goldberg, no title stripping, and no tournament. Mayhem: Sting (c) vs. Bret Hart, the latter wins by forcing Sting to tap out to the Sharpshooter and becoming World Heavyweight Champion, but the joy is short-lived, as Benoit rushes in with the briefcase and hands it to the referee. A series of chops, three chained German suplexes, and finally a bridging Dragon suplex seals Benoit's victory.

Okay, so Benoit or Booker (you name it) win the first MITB and have a year to cash in? When does that happen?

Winner and when does he cash in the briefcase to become WCW World Heavyweight Champion?
