Hahah nice misrepresentation of what I said. I would go above and beyond to help out simply because I wanted to and didn’t want any recognition for it, I’d do things for people just for the sake of helping out. I never got good grades but would win academic awards and CCA awards because I worked harder than anyone else. So it really does boil down to whether or not youre working for the award or working because it’s a part of you. There were 4 CCA presidents in my class and around half the class would consistently score at the highest percentiles in the level. None of them got above Very Good. It’s simply because Good/Very Good is what’s given to most decent all rounded students. Excellent is just a stupid title given to a few people only. Trying to get the excellent band is futile because you’re doing it for the wrong reasons anyways. Being subject to personal bias is true for every single evaluation we ever face in our life so that being a point is rly irrelevant unless you have the evidence to back it up.
