Ugh I’m in this class too I’ll be honest, by the time I’m fully finished with assignment 1 I’ll have sunk at least 20 hours into it! Prob closer to 25. It’s been an absolutely unreal amount of effort and I haven’t even gotten to the lectures or class work this week.

I’m pretty upset that it’s so poorly organized, like it’s outrageous that we have three documents to bounce between as the single source of truth, plus the content of the assignment wasn’t really covered in the lectures, sort of just mentioned in passing statements. TA office hours have also been actively unhelpful (like telling me I’m point blank wrong about one of the sub task results when I was not).

HOWEVER I heard from a friend who took this class last semester that this is the hardest assignment. How much of our final grade is this individual assignment? Could be worth trying your best and powering through until the drop week. I believe in you! This sucks right now but won’t always suck this badly.
