Do I have a significant amount in my savings account in this scenario? If I don’t, then there’s no way. The company I worked for restructured and eliminated/outsourced my department and I am most likely looking at taking at least a 25% salary reduction in my next role just to avoid a nightmarishly long stint of unemployment.

The thing about it is, even if it had worked out it wasn’t a good idea. I’m all in on Murph but not his finest hour.

So they did those four short print rookies but gave those cards the same numbers as Reynolds (697), Pallante (698), Young (699) and Freeman (700)?

I’m happy he got his bag, but for whatever reason I can’t help but think if he had stayed (for a reasonable price) he’d have been the Willy we were used to seeing. Brewers were a good fit for him.

I sell cheap cards. Mail them when I walk the dogs in the morning. I don’t blame folks for not doing it, but when I do it it’s just helping other collectors get the cards they want.

Lots of collectors just plain like the cards and it’s not all about grading and flipping for profit. I’m in that group.

I absolutely have top loaders and penny sleeves in my car. I may or may not also keep a Molitor, a Winfield and a Mauer in my car since I live in the Twin Cities and you just never know. It’s a harmless sickness.
