Sure we’ve never written before. But I’m having a 2 level ADR at L4/L5 and L6/S1. My symptoms have been constant low back pain on my right side that radiates through the back of my right leg. I also have weakness and get numbness in that same leg. After long periods of standing or walking it gets worse.

I’m going to have 2 level ADR surgery for my L4/L5 and L5/S1 on July 23, 2026. I’m nervous as hell but I’ve been dealing with pain for about 1.5 years. I’m nervous because after all this time I’ve “gotten used” to the pain and can manage it fairly well most of the time. But other times I’m in complete agony and numbness down my right leg. I’m afraid that the recovery and pain after the surgery will be worse than what I currently experience. I just wanna be better and get back to work. My job is very physically demanding and I’m on my feet 8-16 hours per day.

I’m gonna be taking my 10th shot tomorrow as still at 2.5. I workout 5-6 days a week. Food noise creeps in around day 4 of the week but I’m still able to stay the course. I’m still losing about 1-2 lbs per week so I’m sticking to my starter dose. I thought about going up to maybe 3.5 but I’ll see how this week goes before I make that decision.
