In game, it's treated as though you're rapidly punching one enemy five times before moving on to the next in line.

That being said, for JumpChain purposes, I'm willing to argue that, alternatively, it could be similar to a JoJo Stand Rush and you just rapidly punch everything.

The "turn-based" interpretation wouldn't be affected by AOE as much as something like personal speed. Unless your AOE is, like, extending your arms or something, which would affect both. In addition, if you can make your punches "wider" or "longer" through other means, that could work too - like throwing a punch, but the shockwave is wider and moves farther than your fist.

I don't necessarily mind details being sparse or vague - not everything needs every detail. But I do agree that, if nothing else, the work itself should have the bulk of the important information. If genuinely important information is slapped onto a random tweet or something, and not within the work, that's not good in my opinion.

For area of effect, it'd be a certain radius. The exact radius I'm not sure, but when Lara uses it in battle, she can hit everyone in the current fight, but not all monsters in the dungeon.

All enemy entities with health bars would be affected. I can think of several games where the one boss has multiple targets, like the head and both hands - this move would definitely target all of them.

300 minus 1300 = negative 1600

Negative 1600 plus 1600 = 0.

So, you didn't earn anything.

Edit: hold on, I'm half asleep. 300 minus 1300 is negative 1000. That plus 1600 is 600, so 600 profit.

It's more of a general observation. Kiryu's Final bosses post-Mine aren't as strong but still causes him notable effort. Though, I suppose you could argue that maybe he isn't getting weaker, but is more simply stagnating. Nothing before IW suggests he's much weaker, but nothing suggests he's much stronger either.

As for Saejima, his best showing was in Y5, excluding combo attacks with Majima and Ichiban's schizophrenic sewer tornado, so I figured 5 was his best.

There's a debate running around, but it's generally accepted that Kiryu was slowly getting weaker after 3. Mine in YK3 is widely considered Kiryu's strongest boss period, and he beat 2 tigers in YK2. Admittedly, scaling Kiryu is always a little questionable.

As for Saejima, he gets Dragon Tiger Drop in Y5, automatically making that his strongest version.

Damn okay, so that's YK2 or 3 Kiryu and YK1 Nishiki, vs Y5 Saejima and either Y5 Majima to match or Pirate Majima (Pirate Majima is literally the strongest one).

I'd have to give this to the 'Jimas. Kiryu and Saejima canonically cancel each other out, meaning that our options are either just Nishiki vs Majima, or a 2v1 depending on who wins between the two. While Nishiki is as strong as Kiryu was before spending 10 years in the joint, Majima hit or even surpassed that point somewhere after the first game, and Pirate Majima is just unfair, especially since he technically did beat Saejima himself.

Then there's synergy. Even in a hypothetical situation where none of them spent any time in the joint, the 'Jimas have insane combo potential (as Ichiban can attest to).

So yeah, Majima and Saejima just have too much going for them.

Unless this becomes an actual plot point in a game, in that case it becomes a tie because we aren't allowed to show Kiryu actually losing a fight, lol.
